The Israelis were supplying Georgia - fair enough, no big deal. My post was not in defence of Israel - their destruction of Lebanon was appalling. I simply meant that it would be surprising to see the Georgians cave so quickly if they were in collaboration with one of the best armed forces in the world.

THE RUSSIANS DIDN'T START THE ACTION SO WHY BUSH AND BROWN SPOKE THE WAY THEY DID IS ABSURD.
