Sounds promising, hope it cuts the debt a fair bit.

A non core element of the business has been identified for sale, target is within the next 12 months according to the 2020 annual report.

Very surprised we’ve not already had a derisory 55-65p bid from DBAY. I think we will see this climb into the 60s naturally over the next few months with the positive news flow that Tim Sykes has alluded to. The board and advisors seem confident.

Another Tim Sykes interview here from yesterday;

Finishes by saying there will be positive news flow over the coming months. Sounds good.

This is a really useful first contract. Well done Proactis.
Risk being reduced too.

It's a bigger win than I thought this morning. Why?

Because there will be a dependency on vendor size.
Larger suppliers have less need and bePayd doesn't address that end of the market.

This deal is €180 million of annual spend with 65,000 suppliers.
About 2K8 average per supplier so uptake could easily be > 5% guesstimated this AM.
It's a bigger deal.

Let’s assume that’s a hefty DBAY buy after hours 105k.

PHD Coverage in the daily vox markets email has just got to my inbox. Not sure what the circulation stats are but it all helps.

DBAY can and probably will still manipulate the share price further in their favour for more accumulation. They’ve been buying under different legal entities. I’m expecting a tree shake after the rise. Hold on tight.

Agreed but theyve been in control and I have had concerns re a cheap takeover attempt. I am less concerned now we are 15p above the long term base!

Can say no more than that but we know who you are.

100k sell barely made a dent on the ask and bid quotes. Nice update today, hopefully more to come and we'll begin a re rate. Update on debt reduction plans would be most welcome at this point too.

AGM soon, could be a bit more news around the date.

Needs another NED, possible news on non-core operations (sale or close) etc.

Before we realise, next set of interims due.

Multi-currency too.

If they dont drop the ball its looking very promising.
As sales build, scale helps carry the overhead, ratios start to look better and debt less of a burden. Could turn out as Sykes suggested. Just frustrating to wait and a concern they dont drop the ball along the way.

The ease in which BePayd can be deployed across multiple territories is very interesting. Thought would be UK focused to begin with but obviously that’s not the case. Big opportunity and should be a fairly straight forward sell to the customers with larger spends. CFOs will be all for saving money where possible.

Absolutely, excellent news and a sign of trust by the customer that they have contracted.

New NED helps too given background, a vote of confidence there too.

Tim Sykes has also said that BePayd effectively doubles a contracts value if taken up by the customer so it’s a big opportunity.

In the fullness of time I think today's contract should be worth about £125K p.a. After costs, very approx, at 5% take up.

All finger in the air.
