28/1/2020 02:52 | When it comes to the markets at the minute fear is more powerful than greed I think | markbelluk
28/1/2020 00:18 | Yes doesn't make any sense for Plus to sell off on a high vol market down day but as SJ said have seen this happen before. Results in a good buying opportunity as more vol is great for Plus | djokovic1
27/1/2020 19:35 | So undervalued here | nw99
27/1/2020 16:22 | Cheers guys, I know my trading has jumped in last week...gone long September | the white house
27/1/2020 16:12 | how long will their buybacks support this massively inflated price? | fxprotrader
27/1/2020 16:03 | White House - Yes
But the price often follows big market moves both up and down initially - intraday
No idea why as it doesn't make sense
Perhaps just BOTs trading by the minute and hour? dictating intraday direction
Longer term trend remains intact

27/1/2020 15:58 | Thought volatility helped these and similar? Any views? | the white house

23/1/2020 19:29 | like the readacross from CMC, plus500 are sharp operators and if the market is going well they are likely to trade strongly off it | ssahoy18
23/1/2020 14:32 | continued to outperform expectations | wton1
23/1/2020 14:29 | Large order of 100,000 volume @901 caused the sudden drop and spooked a few people. Its been sat on the book all week as a BUY order but came through as a Sell AT?
I think CMC's positive update can only help.....this week is just turbulence IMHO | markbelluk
23/1/2020 13:50 | I would read "higher retention of client income" as better internalization of flows which reduces the need to hedge and hence increases the PnL by capturing the full bid ask spread.
Relative to Plus, CMC doesn't make or lose much on Market PnL as they hedge if they cant internalize. | djokovic1
23/1/2020 12:27 | Surprised at drift today given CMCX's positive update
I assume "higher retention of client income" is another way of saying Market P&L!?
"CMCX trading update for the three months ended 31 December 2019 ("Q3" or the "Period").
Net operating income continued to outperform expectations in Q3 2020. The strong performance was driven by higher retention of client income in comparison to H1 2020. This resulted in higher revenue per active client despite lower client income due to the weaker market conditions throughout much of the quarter.
Outlook
Q4 2020 has started well and in conjunction with the Q3 2020 performance, the Board remains confident in the ongoing strong revenue performance for the full year, with net operating income expected to be ahead of the upper end of the current range of analyst forecasts." | sailing john
17/1/2020 10:31 | That's the excitement to enjoy with all the high yielding shares :-)) | randdokic
17/1/2020 10:18 | IF you get out in time | fxprotrader
17/1/2020 10:17 | Sure. but in the meantime it's quite healthy not to miss the dividends and the rise. | randdokic
16/1/2020 14:00 | It's just a matter of when this goes to zero, not if imo | fxprotrader
16/1/2020 10:09 | Point & Figure looks interesting (only used on TradingView which does have realtime data)..who's your data provider with Updata?
After studying and using far too many indicators Ive found candlesticks with trend lines to be the most accurate for me (as a leading indicator). Im also a big fan of using 2 ALMA's (10 & 50 day) with a SAR dot direction change as they cross (strong chance of reversal) | markbelluk
15/1/2020 18:19 | many thanks markbelluk
must admit i am a big fan of Point & Figure and use Updata for this, great TA platform. the target on there comes out at £10.50 as a first target.
interested to see how you arrive at £11.45 target,
interesting gap from £12 to £16 | stoxx67
15/1/2020 17:09 | I think Philly have found this pretty tricky to trade. And have made very little, if anything out of this even though they have had a short bias since 2014.
They caught it right when it fell from 1600p to 1100p over a year back, but added to the short at 570p a few months back, which has cost them 60% including divs. Like the analysts, not sure they really have much of an idea (or if they do, as we have all read, not great ones). | chucko1
