Also the $50m share buyback has ended with repurchase of 5mio shares at an average purchase price of $10 or £7.7 at the current exchange rate. Looking forward to the FY results and commentary.

Added on yesterday's drop.

Increased Volatility especially drop in oil price and natural gas should be great for Plus. Oil and Nat Gas are the most actively traded instruments on Plus and most clients (90%) are long, last few days should have been quite positive for Market PnL. And trading (spread) PnL should obviously benefit from increased volatility.

I hope they announce another round of share buyback's soon, will be a great use of the $300m+ of excess cash on the balance sheet at these undervalued levels.

Yes doesn't make any sense for Plus to sell off on a high vol market down day but as SJ said have seen this happen before. Results in a good buying opportunity as more vol is great for Plus

how long will their buybacks support this massively inflated price?

White House - Yes
But the price often follows big market moves both up and down initially - intraday
No idea why as it doesn't make sense
Perhaps just BOTs trading by the minute and hour? dictating intraday direction
Longer term trend remains intact

like the readacross from CMC, plus500 are sharp operators and if the market is going well they are likely to trade strongly off it
