They (Cube) don’t understand what the customer losses really mean. They are, in fact, barely relevant and the issue has been blown out of all proportion. But it does permit buying on volatility such as today and trading it with some confidence.

That’s all apart from the long term holding period which continues to deliver in both dividends and steady corporate growth.

Who knows what others are thinking, but YoY is pretty irrelevant. You somehow have to judge the regulatory effects in future years and the pros and cons they offer to PLUS (which will be rather different to its competitors).

As it stands, I think PLUS is able to navigate these far better than others and this remains a growth stock, though only if measured over a long time period. Those who have been patient have been rewarded.

The fall to 810p today was an easy trade if you like short term action. Sold 2 hours or so later at 851.5p! Also sold at 889p and bought at 859p. Crazy.

With the outlook being a positive one I'd say that the reaction here should be positive.

Amyone have a view on those numbers? Is the market taking a simple look at YOY comparison?

don`t get this at all, can`t wait for the results in feb and the dividend announcement now. thought others would be piling in...

janauary could be a good start as well with all the volatility last few days already, crude, gold etc big mvnts

Technically on a retrace I have resistance circa 955 then nothing until circa 1143

In terms of fundamentals I'm struggling as net profit puts us into the 1000 range with a higher yield?

Looks like the short funds trying make what could be a last stand and drag the price back down...constant small selling for the last hour now, however they must be looking to close out soon

Assuming the update will be positive ,we will have generated more ‘surplus ‘cash over the period & may well have more cash than we started with despite the fairly hefty buy backs & dividend payment .After the debacle early this year I sold out completely (having first bought the week of the IPO).I only bought 25% of my final holding back in mid 500s as my confidence had been severely eroded by the series of poor RNSs .A positive update soon & perhaps we will be rehabilitated & I will remain happy with a smaller holding in a company which has been very kind to me since my first investment

No share buy-back on 18th, 19th or 20th of this month. First time there has been no share-buyback since this round started on 19th August.

Current buyback programme is for up to $50mn (£38.5mn at current exchange rate) .

Have used up £32.5mn of that excluding costs.

not with buybacks for another few months then could be. Have £10.50 as a target.
