Not sure why you say that. I don't think there would be any reason for management to take private, there wouldnt be any advantages for them to do so.

Management have always been heavy buyers and sellers here. They like to sell heavily too when they have the opportunity, and will need a liquid market to enable that.

Cfro its a £650k director buy mate!... with the buy back and the recent director buying it looks as though this is being primed for a management buy-out to take private!

Typically Im long in oil but PLUS is my hedge (Apparently!)

What amazing conditions for Plus. This is perfect for them.

Oil was their most actively traded instrument yesterday and 86% of clients were long. So Plus would have made a bucket load on market PnL yesterday on the drop.

You are all bulls and never want to hear anything negative but have you considered that plus could take a kicking here on oil ? Or will it be the magical swiss franc situation. Ever thought whilst volatility is good, a steep decline over several days is bad for them, given theyre often limited on their gain but unlimited on their loss?

This is truly what this company has been waiting for. A US recession should give us months or years of volatility.

Understood just looked back at the old posts markbelluk,

Always best to starve them of any acknowledgement.

It did count when the directors sold from september to December 2018 before bad news arrived in February/March.

Have to remember directors will sell first and certainly wouldn't warn private investors about future bad news. Often it is only director sells that indicate that we should follow them out.

Why didnt it count when the founders were selling all the time?

Added 25% to position today, now going to wait for Q1, unless it goes to 900 to get some more. Added because:

a) Consistent insider buying even at current levels. This is a simple business, they know how Q1 is looking and what the numbers will be (based on current run-rate of course). Their record has been a 100% on timing buys and sells as far as I can remember.
b) Volatility looks set to continue for a while unless we find a vaccine in the near future + US election volatility + rate cuts
c) Google trends shows an uptick in searches for Plus500 (as one would expect) but good to confirm the increased activity
d) Still cheap valuation with a lot of cash in the bank
Edit: and e) Not that it matters much to me what they do, but shorts seem to concur as short interest has dropped consistently since Oct'19

Probably not record breaking (we had the mad short lived crypto boom which will be a tough act to follow ) but clearly an excellent quarter & our growing cash pile will ensure an increased first half divi & a continuation of the buy backs.
Should our share price slip back before first quarter results I will be buying more
