08/3/2017 10:08 | Recent moves in ex rate have increased divi to 53.7p by my calcs And should also be putting upward pressure on SP SJ | sailing john
07/3/2017 14:00 | Even after going ex-d the price hasn't come down by as much as the dividend (so maybe Morgan Stanley selling before and buying after not such a good thing); indicating to me more than ever that Plus500 is an income share; and that removes a lot of risk of loss ('cos you keep getting paid out) and whilst putting a cap on capital appreciation, the dividend is likely to give a similar capital rise each time just in keeping pace. All the talk of legislators here and there and everywhere banning the business they do may scare the price down from time to time - as does the founders taking capital out themselves, but why shouldn't they? - but for me, that's a chance to buy a few more. | andrewbaker
06/3/2017 19:05 | Regulatory consultation also taking place by CBI in Ireland until 29 May 2017. One of the proposed outcomes is a total ban on FX and CFDs for customers inside and outside Ireland. hxxp://www.leaprate. | planelondon
06/3/2017 18:58 | rhatton, hope this helps: | planelondon
04/3/2017 02:08 | Lampran, do you have a link regarding the 7th March for the end of the consultation? | rhatton
03/3/2017 15:58 | lampran - agreed - holding PLUS over the last three years has never been easy but I somehow feel that more recently the management and broker have got a grip on this co and its sp | pbutterworth1
03/3/2017 13:27 | if it holds up on Monday I'm going to concede pbutterworth1 Remember the FCA consultation ends 7 March, update to follow | lampran
03/3/2017 12:56 | .....well in my HL accs I have PLUS in ISA, SIPP and Inv ACC. In the latter I will get the tax back - so as far as I am concerned this share is the full 52p in that segment.... | pbutterworth1
03/3/2017 12:27 | bummer, yeah it's not as simple as it seems. Hence the 39p drop, not the full 52p. Still hovering around -30p on Weds close | lampran
03/3/2017 09:39 | Hargreaves Lansdown say I can't reclaim the withholding tax as my shares are held in an ISA 😢 | petercrosby
03/3/2017 06:27 | Thanks hutch pod just read it,jeez theres a bit of work involved in this. Don't know if it's worth all the stress | linton5
02/3/2017 20:20 | Try the 2 March 2015 RNS | hutch_pod
02/3/2017 19:11 | Surely the company must have a statement somewhere regarding the dividend tax issue if there listed on lse. Can anyone tell me we're it is if there is one. Or a phone number to contact plus please | linton5
02/3/2017 17:51 | Does a completed W-8BEN cover the Israel withholding tax. | theclaw
02/3/2017 16:39 | Sorry to harp on about this but like others have noted the share price did not go down enough today for a big xdiv. That can only mean the 'market' thinks there is more val in PLUS - ie the share price is going to go up over the next few days - we will see. Sp also showing much less variability than before. IMHO the house broker is now doing its proper job | pbutterworth1
02/3/2017 15:50 | Ok thanks so I'll get on with applying for form. I take it I do it after payday on 3rd july | linton5
02/3/2017 15:46 | Lint My holding is also with broker and I have managed to reclaim the Israeli tax, which has been repaid to my broker. | stuffee
02/3/2017 14:39 | Well either way, the business is now worth 52p less than it was this morning, so it shouldn't be trading at 430, it should be nearer 408 | lampran
02/3/2017 14:37 | My holding is with a broker stuffee does your previous advice still stand,or do I just get on with applying for the forms myself | linton5
02/3/2017 14:29 | Lint FYI, I try to clarify the divi value to a UK resident individual.. The gross value of the divi is still 52p. They receive 39p cash after deduction of 13p (25%) Israeli withholding tax. Of this 7.8p (15%) can be set against their UK income tax and 5.2p (10%) can be claimed back in cash from the Israeli Tax Authority. Once you have set up a process for reclaiming the Israeli tax, it's not too difficult for subsequent divis. I assume UK institutional shareholders can also reclaim. | stuffee
02/3/2017 14:25 | yeah it's reclaimable. Not sure if it is for institutions though? just individuals. So funds like odey and stanley might have to pay? | lampran
02/3/2017 14:08 | Are you stating lampran that British shareholders are only getting 39p for divi | linton5 |
