05/7/2017 12:30 | Anyone got divi yet | linton5
04/7/2017 11:16 | Anyone else got a lower doc amount than published on the PLUS 500 website? I spoke to IG and they said Bloomberg has a much lower amount (a third of that quoted by PLUS) and that's what they are using. | letsmakesome
04/7/2017 07:55 | Real puzzle to me why the share price is languishing?? Very high yield, very positive trading update, spinning off loads of cash, successfully opening up New territories. Surely not just the regulatory overhang? Maybe it will kick up today with chunky divs reinvested.... | shaker44
03/7/2017 15:22 | As I said in post 11543 on 7 June, the gap around 660p to 740p is set to close, and now sooner rather than later, in my opinion. The new regulations are not a major obstacle, and the trading figures are better than expected, so further northwards here we go! | andrewbaker
03/7/2017 11:10 | What makes this a surprising and even more impressive result (rev ahead) is the record low volatility for the period. Certainly for equities although there have been some significant currency moves especially in cryptos where PLUS appear to have a dominant position with 6 offerings vs one at IG Looking forwards volatility worst case is no change although more likely to increase and markets looking a little toppy perhaps. Any downturn will of course be good for business and likely to be preceded by a period of volatility All imo GL SJ | sailing john
03/7/2017 09:42 | Yes a VERY positive trading commnetary and given the low valuation what we are likely to see is a "positve / growth" style rating as "opposed to a negative / languishing" one. Brokers forecast are liekly to be modified IMO and this should compound the re-rating. The positive chart really does look appealing all on its own. I note the EV valuation is much more attractive then th PER too and once you apply the releavant re-measure for the net cash you really have a bargian stock with a growth outlook - notwithstanding the regulation issues (faced by the competiotion also) we have a perfect set of circumstances for investment in my view...the trick is not to take the profits too early. | thorpematt
03/7/2017 08:28 | Your joking jeez I want it now, just phoned my broker and there looking into it. Not good enough👺 | linton5
03/7/2017 08:24 | I suppose somebody should mention the TS today "the Company now anticipates that revenues and profits for the year ending 31 December 2017 will be significantly ahead of current market expectations." The forecasts I had seen in the market were all too low (compared to my model) so I'm not surprised Remains my largest position Divi pay date today 65.28c circa 50p! (Note some brokers very slow to exchange and credit accounts so don't expect immediate credit can take days or even up to two weeks based on past history) | sailing john
29/6/2017 11:48 | The CFD regulation saga took another turn on Thursday after the European Securities and Markets Authority said it was considering taking action to clampdown on online retail trading platforms across Europe following moves by several European Country-specific regulators to intervene in the growing sector. hxxps://www.research | lampran
21/6/2017 19:32 | Plus500 have just added another virtual/cryptocurren Interest in Plus500 on Google Trends is at its highest level since US elections last November. | planelondon
20/6/2017 15:47 | Despite low volatility in most asset classes in Q2 so far, I think revenues will surprise to the upside in Q2. The reason: virtual currency CFDs. Plus500 offer Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and as of today, Ripple which was launched via their new notification centre on the trading platform. In my experience, customers move to where the volatility is and it's been exceptional in these 3/4 instruments over the last 100 days. | planelondon
14/6/2017 10:54 | Looks like Mr M slowly closing the PE gap between PLUS, IGG and CMCX But still a long way to go with PEs at current prices of IGG 12, CMCX 10 and PLUS 7 And comparative yield (the real return) much higher at PLUS Comparative chart below from 6th Dec (FCA tightening announcement date) Chart excludes xds over the period of 50p for PLUS and 9p for IGG I had thought CMCX was the runt of the litter - turns out it's IGG at the moment | sailing john
07/6/2017 13:52 | From their recent trading statements it looks like they are on to do c$95-100m ebitda in H1 2017 vs $59.1m for H1 2016 (a 60-70% profit growth). This company is highly undervalued in my opinion. | thevaluehunter
07/6/2017 13:23 | Plus has closed the gap between 400 and 500p approx., and now has the gap between 660 and 740p approx. to close, which it will in time; so now seems a good time to add (as I'm already holding). The share buy-back will help, as will the dividend, which is nicely covered. As I said before, the people who trade with Plus are gamblers, addicts, and won't stop, and if some do, others will replace them. Regulators may make things tougher, as they try to do with say, tobacco companies, but true addicts carry on regardless. | andrewbaker
07/6/2017 10:45 | Directors buying it appears - and why not £30k at 539.5p | sailing john
