17/2/2017 08:51 | Long term PLUS watcher and modest holder. This share has now stabilised and looks rather cheap on the run into the div IMHO. Lyders - why the name change from El capital to Lydnem - we had gd banter under the old name...... | pbutterworth1
16/2/2017 12:10 | With a massive dividend to fork out for, I think pretty much all the shorts will be closed before the ex div date. Onwards and upwards IMO. I would like to see £5 in the next month or so | danboris2
16/2/2017 11:07 | I can't believe how cheap this is,not many bargains left | linton5
15/2/2017 15:10 | Look forward not back. A lot of uncharted waters to navigate. | lydnem
15/2/2017 10:50 | It's the EV/EBITDA at c3.25 and dividend yield which make it a buy for me. | thevaluehunter
15/2/2017 08:17 | hxxp://cdn.plus500.c interesting stats. #1 Revenues from mobile devices #1 In new customers #1 Unified Platforms 8 Languages 31 Countries "...majority of revenues and signups come from mobile devices reflecting speed of innovation compared to competitors (over 70% of 2016 revenues and signups originated from mobile devices)" | lampran
14/2/2017 15:56 | sailing john, is that quite low? How can you tell how many people are short/percentage etc.? | lampran
14/2/2017 15:15 | I assume the shorts won't want to stump up 52p for the divi in 2 weeks! Sadly the current short position declared last week is only 0.77% Has been reducing and I'm assuming most out for xd date - we shall see! GL SJ | sailing john
14/2/2017 15:08 | I realise that IG is more than just a CFD provider but this is increasingly undervalued or IG is overvalued currently | rhatton
14/2/2017 15:03 | Thanks rH a good summary in your link. Noticed reference to FY Results presentation which I hadn't looked at Worth a look as charts etc. very interesting | sailing john

09/2/2017 16:04 | rhatton, wasn't expecting an annoucement the following day on the South Africa licence. My thinking was based on Plus500 significant marketing activity over the last year that can be seen on Google trends for these two countries. I would anticipate the lifetime value of customers will be lower than Plus's current average for SA but the new customer numbers should be healthy over time. The key is its brings divercification to future revenues. All postive stuff. | planelondon
09/2/2017 08:13 | Planelondon, nice vision :) | rhatton
08/2/2017 23:58 | I think we will see Plus500 obtain new license/operations in South Africa and Mexico this year. Should help fill the gap the regulatory changes in the UK may have on future revenues. Perhaps also another license within Europe in preparation for Brexit - Frankfurt or Dublin? | planelondon
08/2/2017 23:32 | Thanks stuffee Good to see the detail and more importantly that it actually works! As I have traded in and out since they floated I think I have only received a couple of divis in the past so I viewed it as too time consuming - and these were probably before PLUS simplified the process a year or two back. 08/2/2017 20:15 | SJ In fact I think Justd has well answered the question you asked me re refund of Israeli withholding tax (WHT), but I elaborate a little further, as I find it sad that evidently only relatively few UK holders have bothered with the refund. Israel deducts 25% WHT on divis to UK resident individuals, who can only claim back 15% against their UK liabilities and who have to seek to reclaim 10% WHT directly from Israel. The key is to obtain the Israel Tax Authority form from Plus' agents, ESOP, headed Claim for reduced rate of withholding tax, which is available online on link from ESOP. This form requires signing by your UK Tax District to confirm you have submitted annual tax returns etc. In one instance my Tax District took over two months to respond and I missed the ESOP deadline. After expressing my view on their delay, all subsequent ITA forms have been promptly returned to me. I've found ESOP accept this ITA confirmation for two successive dividends and you don't need it every time. ESOP also requires a certified copy of your passport, confirmation from your bank/ broker of your Plus shareholding, their receipt of the dividend and confirmation of the net dividend transferred to your account. You can approach ESOP for the ITA form and procedures on esop-helpdesk@esop.c You have to email all this to ESOP and they usually confirm a week or so later that all satisfactory and they are submitting your claim to the Israel Tax Authority. After about another month or two, the refund is received in US$. This all a bit of hassle first time but much easier thereafter. Of the 7 divi dates since Oct 2013, I didn't bother with the first, was too late due to UK Inland Revenue delay with the second, but have had satisfactory refunds of the 10% WHT from Israel with all the others, including part of my holding in an ISA. Refunds of 10% of the divis from Plus soon become quite serious! | stuffee
08/2/2017 18:34 | Thanks justd - I have always managed to get the HMRC 15% double tax relief via my tax return without any problem or forms - just fill in on my tax return It is the other 10% via esop that I'm after as I hold more shares having recently bought back in Will give it a go and report back SJ | sailing john
08/2/2017 18:09 | Sailingjohn - you need to contact Esop, which is PLUS's management co in Israel. Last year, I got back from HMRC 15% of the mandatory 25% withholding tax - you need a form officially stamped by PLUS. Email address is: Esop-Helpdesk@esop.c Dear PLUS 500 shareholder, In order to receive the refund for the upcoming dividend payment, please fill out the attached forms and provide all the mandatory information. Please note, ESOP will need receive and review the information by May 15, 2016. We welcome any additional question. Tel no: (+972) 375 36823 | justdezzerts |
