I've reported El Claptrap to the FCA as an imbecile retail idiot who doesn't seem to know what a CFD is. Hopefully will get struck off (again) but on the other hand, Their enforcement action will be to cut his margin by 50% and force an auto close out on his crumby short campaign that he has been running for two years. No tax to pay because the daily charges on that timeframe would have more than wiped any gains out.

Aye you have, because of regulatory scares which you seem to know about in advance. They are just scares incidentally, the impact of the first, apart from a suspension by the company of onboarding new customers, was nil. I see no reason from the information already released to suggest that the current mooted changes in the regulatory regime are going to have a significant effect either. Basically, warnings do not put people off, they know they are taking a risk anyway.
