Who led you to believe this? I seem to recall ngms highlighting this as a potential issue, or have I got that wrong? Never be so sure of success that the critics are ignored or ridiculed. Challenge by all means - as I have done often - but never ridicule. I think ngms, if my recollection is correct, had a very good point!

As a regular reader here but infrequent poster, a market participant has told me that the broker note this morning from Canaccord uses the term "disappointment" which does not appear anywhere in the RNS today.That is a disappointment. Has anyone seen the analyst's comment yet?

(Edit: I suppose any setback can fairly be described as a disappointment. But semantics are important. The SMD issues are patently of a technical nature only and not a formation problem. Thus the prospectivity of the SMD zone has not diminished at all. Accordingly I remain disappointed at the use of the word "disappointment".)

Yesterday's buyers must have a bit of a 'sicky' feeling in their mouth today. Price not being helped by overall risk-off in markets. News didn't seem too bad to me given operational issues are par for the course in the oil and gas industry.Twenty per cent discount seems a reasonable entry point for the story to unfold over the next couple of weeks.

I suspect that much of the selling pressure is coming from stops being breached as there has been a fair bit of gambling on this "100% cert."

As if drilling in Alaska doesn't ALWAYS carry substantial amounts of risk. Just maybe this board shouldn't be quite so damning of those posting up a modicum of caution.

Kiss of death to think you have found bottom. I do think this is oversold but there's going to be a few weeks now with no news and of course the war. Let's hope it does pick up today from here going into the weekend. The blizzard news was a bit like the dog ate my homework. Human safety is the number one here though so let's be thankful for that.

Trouble for many is :

3 weeks to flow testing results. Due end March according to Canaccord comments this morning.

Russia at war.

So anything can happen in these coming 3 weeks, so lots of folk selling out with a view to buying back in 2 weeks or so for sure.

With no war in Ukraine things would have been neutral, but with Ukraine ongoing and markets as nervous as hell, its to be expected given a now 3 week delay to next news.

It’s not the weather as much as the average retail investor these days can’t read or write. It’s mung syndrome. So the market takes advantage , it’s easy for them. An increase in the share price will resume once the clear out of the uneducated has been completed.

This makes no sense. Just a minor delay mixed in with some good news on the more important acreage at Theta west and its down 20%. Am i missing something.
