21/12/2015 15:58 | For the Darwin CLN's if you divide the year by 4 week intervals that gives 14 dates. As a nominal maximum of £1.2m could be raised during the year - that suggests 12 dates could be used to issue CLN's, each raising a nominal £100k. And 2 dates would not be used. 06-10-2015 used 03-11-2015 used 01-12-2015 not used 29-12-2015 ? 26-01-2016 ? .... As each nominal £100k only gives approx £90k net to Oxus I would have expected them to use the first 3 or 4 dates before having a gap in the fund raising. | ![]() stonefold

21/12/2015 13:47 | Great post PF, particularly like this "The trick is to change your mindset, challenge yourself, find a new love/passion (hobby, job or romance)..and believe in yourself." I left "my proper job" 5 years ago with a lump sum, not that big, but put myself through the Society of Technical Analyst's exam, was 42, never looked back, trading full time ever since. Took up bouldering (climbing without ropes) this year, feel about twenty years younger. Totally addicted. Louis Parkinson Team GB Random Footage Totty is a bonus, large girls tend to be eating chips and chocolate, not climbing walls. | ![]() melodrama

21/12/2015 13:30 | Lithological.. I really sympathise with your situation mate, and maybe now is a great time to change things. I don't know your background and life restrictions but even if Oxus doesn't do it for you, maybe decide to make it a catalyst for change. It's hard making a break with financial, skills and/or relationship restrictions. Too many people hang around in the same job/marriage etc etc for years, wasting away. It's only looking back that you realise things have passed you by..but there is still a lot of time for you, and at least you know you're in a rut. It would have been useful to have had another string to your working bow, but it's not too late to try your hand at other things, re-train and kick-start your life again. Like Festario said, sometimes it takes an external event (like redundancy with the attendant cash bonus) to make you push on and turn a negative into the biggest positive ever. I'm getting to your age bracket and I , myself, can sense myself feeling more negative about things. I'm aware of it, and trying to fight that. The trick is to change your mindset, challenge yourself, find a new love/passion (hobby, job or romance)..and believe in yourself. Things will come around, but don't add to your woes by making yourself a complete victim of Oxus Gold's fortunes. I hope you haven't got everything in here. Many of my mates have had one job since leaving school (mainly semi-skilled or trade jobs, but some in professions) and some are in the same position as yourself)It's a tough age, but maybe a good one to re-invent yourself (Easier said than done, but definitely achievable) Confidence is the key, but having a bit of dosh gives you the freedom to break the chains, so I hope Oxus brings some good cheer for you. Good luck to you and your quest for a happier life in the New Year, and Merry Christmas :o)) Ps What is your job? | ![]() pennyfalls

21/12/2015 12:06 | It has been discussed previously as to why OXS would need £100k per month. I think it is just to show the Uzbeks that OXS are not going away. Maybe RS has decided that there is enough money in the kitty for now. I would love to be surprised by some positive news by EOY 2015, but I don't think it going to happen. GLA. | riskier
21/12/2015 11:08 | I apologise if this has already been discussed but the option to draw funds from Darwin has not been taken this month as far as i can see. The 2 previous drawdowns were early Oct and Nov and the option is monthly. | ![]() pug151

21/12/2015 08:19 | Good morning GS and all Hopefully the arbitration outcome will help to make 2016 a prosperous new year for PIs as the decision now looks unlikely to be announced this year. I note though that the ARM's result was published on new years eve so anything is possible. | ![]() maytrees

20/12/2015 16:32 | dr darkstore unfortunately the main problem is that I am in my 50's and have done the same thing all my life and do not want another job in the same profession but its all I know and its difficult both learning new tricks and getting into a different field at this late stage. I have been doing the same thing since I was 18 . I am lucky in that I have worked all my life but just feel completely and utterly exhausted and just need a lengthy time off to recover and start again doing something else, somewhere else. | ![]() lithological heterogeneities
20/12/2015 16:31 | If we win surely the fairest way to deal with distribution of payment would be suspend the shares to prevent a chaotic market place. Costs and fees could be unknown at that point so selling asap may not be wise move. | big_brown_bear
20/12/2015 16:24 | Many TX Nick 2412 - for your measured and helpful post. LH - I sympathise. All OXS holders - a very happy Christmas 2015 and maybe even a profitable new year. | ![]() maytrees |
