My view fwiw is that we approach The RNS with a tiny market cap of £20m . This is because the market always undervalues where total loss is possible and we have also had RAB selling over a long period. Like others here I do not think RAB selling is informed in any way. Darwin also contributes to this process. If we win on merits Unless the award is derisory it will impress.

Well stig you should have been here 12 months ago then you could buy all the shares you wanted for 1.8p. As it stands Ive made 100% on any purchases Ive made back then. I`m now here on a free carry.
What I am saying and it was the same back then is the level of payout is at most going to give a return of 10p per share max not the £1 thats been bantered about now.

Hayfield:Apart from a much higher asset valuation they have had the benefit of cash flow derived from a much higher gold price then now since 2011.How then can we receive a valuation based on a much lower gold price.Sounds like you have sold or retain a small stake!At the very least we will receive (assuming we win) an average say of the assets and cash flows since then and now.

All gold miners have been beaten down lately. How much would those other companies have been valued at in 2011 when gold was at $1850/oz?

I'm not so sure that we will get the valuations bantered about these boards.As it stands their are several companies with large undeveloped gold assets similar in size to the asset Oxus had. These companies are trading with market caps of less than 50 million.I have no doubt that Oxus have a good case but its the valuations that seem ludicrous, and an award if any in Oxus favour could be well below the 100 million mark

....though perhaps her reputation shouldn't really affect the decisions of impartial adjudicators who ought to base their conclusions purely on the facts at hand.

Agreed pug, listed companies usually have to water down or user weaker language than they would like. I suspect in the instance of OXS' recent RNS, 'blatant' expropriation is almost being used as a synonym for 'illegal' expropriation.

Sterne seems to me to be arguing for a larger award where an asset is illegally expropriated. She points out that assets may be legally expropriated with an expectation of just compensation. I can't recall a case other than Oxus where employees left the country in fear for their safety. Not to mention the one employee still in an Uzbeck jail. I imagine we made a rather strong case for illegal expropriation.

I'd have thought she would be fully aware of the opinions of her fellow tribunal members for months. This isn't some imbecile off the street but an experienced international arbitration expert. I expect the conclusions have been reached for some time and the delay is simply drafting/re-drafting of the final documents.

wulber - she's commenting on several recent awards which she feels have unduly favoured the winning claimants. I'm not sure our own result will have been known to her on 7th Sept when she issued the Partially Dissenting Opinion, so whether her reservations have anything to do with us, remains to be seen.

Todays candlestick/fiddlestick is definitely NOT a hammer. It's a short white candlestick with a lower shadow (tail) and a shorter upper shadow.

For what it's worth the 2 day pattern (yesterday & today) is a possibly Bullish Harami pattern. Whether it turns out to be bullish we will have to wait and see. Not that it matters to me whether it's bullish or not. I'm waiting for the verdict.

I think critical is 23 and 24 where it appears the higher award has been favoured, much to her annoyance!Is that c. $1250 mn? !!!!!!!!8@D

Read through it myself and see she does not oppose the award, disagrees with the way it is calculated, but is going with the flow.I see $489 mn, but can't fathom what the extra margin is????Anyone, or may re-read, but so much legal jargon for me to comprehend with my simple mindset!
