06/10/2015 13:21 | "We will be told when the arbitration verdict is to be announced" not always | trade wise
06/10/2015 13:19 | Like I said just a punt for me, i have looked at the company before but not in great detail compared to when I invest elsewhere. I like to mix up my risk on what I invest in, and this would be my riskiest share as its all or nothing as far as I can see. Especially if you inform me they would be insolvent regardless of the Darwin funds. GL all | webshares
06/10/2015 13:19 | The 4 day rise following on from Wednesdays RNS indicating a result in the "very near future" was a classic bull trap. It happens all the time on AIM (the good news is issued first to push up the share price and then the bad news is issued) and the fools rush in and buy. We will be told when the arbitration verdict is to be announced (see RUR RNS dated 20/12/13). | papillon
06/10/2015 13:12 | As is the case with almost all AIM companies, Nat Hart, he was being economical with the truth. | papillon
06/10/2015 13:11 | Nat Hart could you not read the accounts ? i don't think RS has any duty to people who are financially illiterate | the stigologist
06/10/2015 13:10 | Surely these funds are just back up in case the result doesn't go the right way. I'm not sure they would be able to get funding if they tried to raise cash after a bad result. I don't know the ins and outs of the company but that's my take on it, and I bought my punt tickets on the drop earlier. Let's hope the very near future result means this month. | webshares
06/10/2015 13:06 | I still expect decision 'in the very near future'. But the company has to remain funded up to the time payment is actually made by the Uzbeks on any win.So they have turned to darwin to plug that funding gap.Top up if you can :-) | jungmana
06/10/2015 13:06 | On the 30th September RS issued the half yearly report of the company with what everyone agrees included a very bullish statement on arbitration result, yet he failed to mention that the company was in urgent need of financial support. That support was sought agreed and received within 7 days of the interim results. Should he not have informed shareholders then rather a week later? | nat hart
06/10/2015 13:04 | Skez13, I don't mind people coming and making their 2% gains. My holding remains intact and I am as optimistic about an award now as I have ever been. Todays RNS can only be positive in my eyes as I fully trust RS comments last week. | gb442
06/10/2015 13:04 | Whilst it is a difficult medicine to swallow it is necessary. As others have mentioned we don't want to end up like Rurelec. This gives us strength, sends a clear message to the Uzbeks and any games they may wish to play. Award could still come at any moment. | valkyrie1
06/10/2015 13:03 | 20m volume so far. Should be a very positive technical 'long tail hammer' finish i suspect. | the stigologist
06/10/2015 13:00 | I posted yesterday that I'm not selling, or buying, any OXS shares prior to the arbitration verdict so I'm not interested if the OXS share price is 3p, 4p, 5p, or 6p immediately before the verdict. I'm holding what I have (average price circa 3p). If that UNCITRAL verdict is announced in 2016 so be it. I'd prefer it sooner, but I have no influence!! My opinion cuts no ice with the arbitration panel! LOL. | papillon
06/10/2015 12:58 | no one takes any notice whatsoever of Stigologist anyway. it will come when it comes, hold or sell, its not difficult | thejaba
06/10/2015 12:54 | don't worry GB442 the noisy ones will exit soon and normal service will resume | skez13
06/10/2015 12:54 | Well, I guess if this board is going to discuss interpretations, this is an interesting post below from another thread. This poster thinks within the 'next few months' would be imminent. Now for me, the word imminent means days or weeks. Funny how these interpretations are used on different boards by some - depending on what position they have in a company. The Stigologist 6 Oct'15 - 09:38 - 2745 of 2771 0 2 lol cash and what is your definition of the word imminent ? if the Company say 3 months ago they will need to raise cash within 12 months don't you think they would be stupid to leave it till the last moment ? so sometime within the next few months i.e. imminent | loverat
06/10/2015 12:50 | good grief the amount of rubbish that is being sprayed back and forth here over the past few weeks is ridiculous. GL long termers as ever, the end is in sight! | gb442
06/10/2015 12:48 | RUR were officially informed almost 6 weeks in advance of when their UNCITRAL arbitration verdict would be announced. They informed the market. Going by that example it's possible that the "very near future" for the OXS verdict is more than 6 weeks away! | papillon
06/10/2015 12:46 | The decision will come when its ready. This is Aim even if Mr Shead said very near future and the decision comes in another 1 or 2 months down the line can anyone do anything about that? | 78steve
06/10/2015 12:42 | I expect the earlier fall was caused not just because people thought the award might not be very close - but also the sudden realisation they would have to read Stig's brain numbing posts here for foreseeable future. | loverat
06/10/2015 12:41 | Stig and loverat, why are you two at each others throats, no matter what boards you post on ? Its quite nauseating. | trade wise
06/10/2015 12:39 | Its positive that Darwin are stumping up the cash if needed.. they must be confident of getting that cash back, plus some | currypasty
06/10/2015 12:36 | Marmar, He did say at the agm apparently that they may sell any award on for another company to pursue. That could indeed result in a change of control of Oxus gold, there's not much else to OXS other than the arbitration. Regards, Ed. | edgein |
