I intend on emailing Cath today and asking whether the company is still active and if it has any ties to Skinbio. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Curapel given its overlap ---- Curapel is an award-winning, skin healthcare company that spun-out of the University of Manchester and is based in Cardiff, Wales. Curapel is developing innovative, patent-protected products based on naturally-occurring ingredients. Curapel currently has three products undergoing pre-clinical development and dermatological testing. One of the products is called Histimex:
Dermatologically tested, liquid food supplement containing naturally-occurring ingredients that contribute to the maintenance of normal skin barrier function. Designed to be suitable for all skin types especially dry and eczema-prone skin. -------

I'm not anyone else on here, I'm simply delving into the background of Cath's former company to uncover any overlap with Skinbio. There's no need to resort to quack theories when someone posts a comment you don't like.

I think this Scottish version of Curapel is active, I looked into this earlier and noted that Curapel had been registered in England but the company had been dissolved. But, by searching further I found that Curapel had also been registered in Scotland.

i'll just say beware the following 2 posters and make up your own mind. I personally am sceptical of any NEWLY formed poster that appears on a BB, their motives may be sound. But on the other hand, mischief may well prevail. In these 2 instances, it came to me to be no surprise that these 2 names are new to advfn,

I wonder if the products developed by Curapel will be incorporated into Skinbio. To me it looks like the company ran out of cash for further development and research.

I agree nothing's changed but ----- The only reason the share price has temporarily suffered is because money has been switching to skin ---- is just your opinion.

My money's on the first distributor deal for LP-LDL over the next few weeks, hopefully with a MN. The only reason the share price has temporarily suffered is because money has been switching to skin - nothing has changed at OPTI, in fact with a successful skin float it's actually become more valuable. The market will catch up over the next few weeks and months as further progress is made at both companies. So we now have not just one, but two exciting companies in the microbiome space with first mover advantage.

Elrico , your post's fall on deaf ears as does everyone he finds awkward to deal with , his just drones on and on making the same points on the hope someone he had not filtered with converse with him in a favourable way. He claims to have people filtered , which is his get out clause, but he sees every post, worry not. Ps any chance you could meet him in Manchester and have a final slug out, which will hopefully end the right way and we will bs rid of him forever, ah bless.

Do the mathes - Michaelmouse. OPTI invested £400k in October 2016 via a convertible loan (converted to shares - for your benefit). In less than 6 months OPTI's 41.9% is worth £7m. So, by you logic this is a bad investment for both OPTI and therefore it's shareholders. OMG - Stick to frauds!

I did say yesterday that I thought we would go down today, but I did buy £5000 just in case there was a cut off date if we were going to get free shares or options. DIAMOND.
