Perhaps a shareholder can clarify the following. From the other thread/other sources shareholders have been led to believe that free shares in SkinBiotix would be issued at IPO.

If free shares aren’t issued tomorrow or in the near future then can somebody clarify how this false rumour was initiated please?

Lukead - OPTI will have c£5.2m in the bank, £2.4 post in SBTX shares IPO via the convertible loan. SBTX will have a market cap probably in excess of £10.7m. Not bad return on £660k in just 12 months. Of course, this is all lost on the guru author of this trashing-thread. But then, math has never been his strong point.

Can you remember what michaelmouse said about the loan note? Scroll back to October 20 for a giggle. Oh and the dilutive placing....what placing, another giggle. He is a barrel of laughs. I hope he keeps this thread going, it's been a joy to behold.

michaelmouse OFFICIAL HE TELLS LIES.

He implies that OPTI is burning cash like no other ( i might say, apart from the companies that he is invested in which do actually burn cash at alarmingly high rate, hence why they are down the bottom of the pan and he has lost big time).

Just to correct his lies, OPTI HAS A CURRENT CASH BURN RATE OF £80/£85 PCM. IT HAS BEEN REDUCED AS A RESULT OF THE SKIN DEMERGER. CASH AT BANK IS £2.8M. EXPECTED BREAK EVEN 2018. THEN WATCH THE PROFITS ROLL IN. SBTX WILL HAVE AMPLE CASH NOW.

PS, when he says "good luck" , do you think he actually means that.... lol

When OPTI announced it had increased its holding in Skinbiotix via the £400k convertible loan on 20th October, the market sold OPTI down, which suggests it did not view this as value adding. So, with that logic in mind the market is behaving irrational if it srips value from OPTI post IPO. It makes no sense. It will be short lived.

Ticker for Skinbio. will be SBTX as SKIN already taken by company listing smae day (Integumen plc).... that's confusing!!

My reading is that for an in-specie distribution of SKBX shares by OPTI to its shareholders we would have to wait 24 months, because of compliance with the orderly market stipulation.However, it would not prevent a cash distribution if OPTI were to sell-down it's holding in year two to return value to LTH's.Is that the correct interpretation?Meanwhile, to see sustained share price progress IMHO we are going to need confirmed progress/launches on the other three strands of IP/products. We should not need to wait very long......Cheers, tightfist

Must admit I sold 8000 ish a few days ago as I'm going to chance getting in on the bell tomorrow in SBTX! I missed out on OPTIs IPO and feel skin could be the most lucrative area!Still got loads of OPTI if free shares are given tomorrow...(and to benefit from the SBTX potential rise) but the gambler in me thought it might be worth loading up on skin on 'the cheap'

Would be nice to get some new Institutions into OPTI. That would really provide support. Good to see SOH holds a good amount, then YSF. Hopefully if YSF continue to sell new institutions will take up stock.

Laugh if they announced tomorrow that all Opti holders as of 5th April will receive x amount of free shares on such and such a date in the future
Serve them right for selling out early!

Yes I did.Initially not clear about allocation.But I'm ok with that. Skin value will be reflected in OPTI.
