25/1/2019 13:39 | The weather changes come rain or shinnnnne,..U loaded up in anticipaition of a bid or a U a chancer? | roberto mancini
25/1/2019 13:35 | We know it's compulsory but what is the purpose of issuing form 8s every second of the day It's a requirement of the takeover code - if you breach it you are subject to major fines. | nigelpm
25/1/2019 13:34 | But, nigel U said there was no bid coming only the other day, why have U changed yer mind,... Have U just loaded up? I asked a question - that's it - end of. | nigelpm
25/1/2019 13:18 | Rayrax 're form 8s. I don't think even the staff at these companies know why they constantly relentlessly issue form 8s every minute of the day. Very very clever geniuses will say it's compulsory but nothing else. We know it's compulsory but what is the purpose of issuing form 8s every second of the day | spacedust
25/1/2019 12:58 | NigelPM - a devious deviant troll. Has been spreading misinformation & plugging his view. Nothing of value / insight to add to the discourse on the board. When refuted & rejected by lucid logic & facts the low IQ individual just resorts to gibberish about filtering..... Clown :) | ashkv
25/1/2019 12:15 | But, nigel U said there was no bid coming only the other day, why have U changed yer mind,... Have U just loaded up? | roberto mancini
25/1/2019 10:50 | Bit of a spike here - bid incoming? | nigelpm
25/1/2019 10:46 | Why do the same companies issue repetitive form 8.3—8.5s? Are they showing off? ;)) | rayrac
25/1/2019 10:15 | Wbecki - you are clearly a low IQ individual. Have you noted the recent trading volume of Ophir.... And if a player is flat in low volume stock it doesn't take a genius to figure out share price can be controlled in the absence of serious buying..... | ashkv
25/1/2019 09:50 | Getting boring here.......amd the form 8s are really exciting. Is it competition or can issue the most form 8s | spacedust
25/1/2019 07:55 | Ed123 - in the FT relevant to your mentioning low ball bid for RPC.... Investors often get shortchanged by self dealing takeover target managements.. nothing new - RPC would seem to be another such episode.... FT 24 Jan 19 Two shareholders attack Apollo’s ‘low’ bid for RPC RLAM and Aviva Investors criticise board’s recommendation of £3.3bn deal | ashkv
25/1/2019 03:10 | I despair sometimes - I posted the link in good faith and the article is not garbage as Nigel says ( did you actually read it ??). If you're not remotely bothered about Tanzania thats fine; If its part of your value assessment for Ophir then 8$ is hardly a lot to pay. | ohisay
24/1/2019 23:53 | Not necessarily garbage, but the headline is misleading. AFAICS after Exxon exited to Mozambique Equinor stayed interested in the Exxon/Equinor blocks, meanwhile Shell is continuing to negotiate terms with Dar Es Salaam for their (our) blocks, which may or may not result in approval of a LNG export facility. Dar Es Salaam wants more of the gas used internally, and is pressing (therefore) for a bigger pipeline. What affects OPHR is that Shell has been negotiating. If Shell had really been frozen out it would have needed an RNS, so it looks like brinkmanship in ongoing negotiations. Same with Equinor, but I haven't checked their website. Much ado, I suspect. We'll see. | wbodger
24/1/2019 21:45 | Ah, the Shelter provides the comfort of keeping us dry whilst we await the number 73 bus. Hop aboard for it is a free ride. | goblin99

24/1/2019 21:17 | Correct regarding Exxon/Equinor and Shell/Pavillion/Ophi | arteespresso
24/1/2019 20:52 | It's behind a wall and I haven't wasted money. I think it's a blunder. From memory only (unable to check my research) Exxon were Statoil's partner in Tanz blocks. Shell have the BG blocks, 60% with Pavilion 20% and OPHR 20%. They wouldn't have muddled Shell and Exxon, would they? | wbodger
24/1/2019 16:49 | Surprised nobody's picked this up. | ohisay
24/1/2019 16:00 | Poor old nigela , she does not even understand the basics lol. | jotoha2
24/1/2019 15:27 | ha ha - one of the best ever lines on ADVFN. | nigelpm |
