Odd that Barclays share price is down approx 6% on a negative forecast update, yet Ocado trading in line with forecast down from £9 to £5.

Would you invest in B or O on the basis of the in-house forecast?

Will we see Exane Paribas issue a downgrade on Barclays in next 48hrs and will it cause a drop of 20%?

As we discussed, I suppose the 320-340 is support level . But if it gets that low again it would mean that the market is saying to avoid as fundamentals not looking good . I just trade it occasionally either long or short . anyway , holding close to 500 level at the moment and not looking too bad

Ocado share price took a hit due to a downgrade from Barclays; today Barclays' results appear to be disappointing to the City. If the same benchmark % drop applies - B could be dropping below 100p?

If you look at O's Board, one non exec is the MD for MS retail- shows M&S is putting a high profile firector in charge of its O retail investment.

A thought - if Amazon doesn't make a move on Ocado - what about appointing Jeff Bezos as either non executive director. Bezos could bring expertise to Board?

I note Amazon reports figures next week. The same company The Times reported had appointed IBs to look at making a bid for Ocado. Hopefully Amazon will clarify things - we shall see if Times is shown to be wrong or right?

Overall the constant drip of loss of value and Board's silence shows to me the firm doesn't care about share value. Perhaps if drops in price scaled back options then things might be different?

The Board imho need appoiint a person with robotic warehousing expertise. Timevto create value rather than promises.

be careful Qantas as OCDO chart in short term downtrend and not good support until about 410 level . I have not followed OCDO closely in last week or so . Hope it bounces next week and might need USA market to stabilise as so bearish at present . Good luck with it and have a good weekend . warm and quite sunny here and hopefully good golfing weather at weekend

Well it looks as if Exane Paribas snd Barclays price for Ocado is setting the price regardless of Moody's reaffirming bond rating.

If global markets are set for recession why aren't banks falling toas nim is squeezed and cost of restructuring costly branches and IBs?

The Board should appoint a new CEO, current one seems to be a talker and not a closer. Time for delivery and focus on £ not accelerated rollout that appear to be too fast for partners to manage?
