The Times recently reported 2 IBs had been appointed re a bid for Ocado- however, so far no bi.

The question for me is how can grocers in USA catch up with say Kroger and reduce their cost of internet sales quickly? The facts show internet sales are growing at the expense of physical store sales.

Is it time for Ocado to seize the moment and put itself up for sale?

It's time to dump London listing and to switch to US listing- why waste time on a market thst follows US market rather than be part of the market that leads?
Brexit, Conservative Government, weak leadership all provide good reasons to switch.

The Kroger/Albertson merger is with FTC and it looks as if more divestment is needed to get the deal approved. In the meantime Kroger's CFC deal with Ocado could be affected by the mergar/divestment? Kroger is hopeful deal will close in January- some say it's too optimistic re FTC.
If K stalls the rollout why should Ocado have to pay increase cost prior to the CFC generating income?

Share price seems to be on a downward trend. Treat technology no doubt.

Should Autostore and Softbank consider buying Ocado for the patents and offloading retail unit to M&S?

I'm reminded how BMW bought Rover to gain access to Land technology.

M&S is reported to be making the last tranche payment to buy 50% Ocado Retail. The report suggests Ocado will receive less than the original price.

The head of Retail left the business yet the CEO must also face questions on the shortfall. The ASRS deals need to be done at the right price ' Ocado flagged deals by 2023 financial year - the CEO needs to hit his own deadlines.

I hold the view founding directors rarely take the business to the next level. The question is, the CEO a Steve z Job (Apple inc) or should he replaced?

Today retail bosses have written to Government asking for a stronger response to aggressive customers and high incidence of theft.

Ocado's business model means it is less exposed to such things.

Proactive shareholder website referred to Ocado signing ASRS deal in '23 Financial Yr:

'The Barclays analysts and their City colleagues were told by Ocado that it is expecting to launch its automated storage and retrieval technology (ASRS) venture imminently and sign a “first deal with a non-grocery partner” for ASRS in the 2023 financial year, with first revenue booked in 2025, while management also expect “orders for new capacity to increase” this year too.'

It's time for Ocado to develop this new cash stream and to show the robotic buys were a good investment for Ocado and shareholders.

News programme last night showed a retailer complaining about lack of enforcement of the law when it comes to thieving from shops. It seems retail ers facing high number of thieving.

Companies like Argos and Ocado shouldn't face such high levels of thieving?

Is Ocado’s current share price tempting for a PE to launch a bid - breaking up retail from CFC/robotic units?

The potential of AI and robotics may encourage a bid for a firm like Ocado
- that is promising a better return has tax losses and a low share price?

I recently read that a WPP employee was reported advising Sir M Sorrell to concentrate on S4Cap share price. I think the Board at Ocado Group should follow the same advice; sitting in HQ's Ivory Towers while shorters and one analyst create 30%+ drop shows, imho,a weak Board to stand up for shareholders.

I look at Ocado as a firm very similar to Argos - it has better control of its stocks than the big supermarkets. Even Target is reported closing stores and warning of $500m additional provision to its theft provision.

The question now is the CEO the person to move the company to the next level?
