If Ocado are matching Tesco and Tesco are matching Aldi as I have spotted then Ocado looks like it is trying to entice price sensitive shoppers. Does this mean it has run out of affluent (possibly price insensitive) customers to target?This will have an impact on their bottom line. So if their growth is stalling and their losses aren't lessening this will look pretty bad.Cheers,Niels

sadly it has turned down and in a slow short term downtrend on chart with bearish mood in market not helping .

Ocado has launched price cuts on more than 1,700 products under its Big Price Drop, with an average reduction of 5% across the range.
The retailer’s reductions sit alongside the Ocado Price Promise which matches prices to Tesco.com on over 10,000 items, including Clubcard prices.

OCDO has done well today as US indices recover . Still in short term uptrend but hard to pick next big move .

QANTAS,Happy New Year.Investing can be a dangerous game, short or long. Buying Ocado a couple of years back at above £20 would have lost investors money too.The full year update will show more cash burn and reduced cash at hand. Ocado will have to raise money in some form this year. Cheers,Niels

The pullback to 680-700 was spot on according to a chart posted on LSE. Now the uptrend is expected to continue towards 1000p. Trading update will be decent too imo.

so perhaps the rally is over Neils after hitting 800 level recently and looking like it could kick on to next resistance level of 1000 . Bearish market overall at present and will be interesting to see of OCDO moves higher again when market improves .

Arja,A happy new year to you.Ocado's runway is running out. They will have to raise cash yet again while they continue to burn through millions of pounds. The burn rate is still high. Let's see if it is less than £300m for H2 2023.Cheers,Niels

interesting comments Neilsc on the fundamentals and i therefore assume it is holding up quite well in the sell off yesterday and bearish overall market because of the perceived advantages of their technology and medium or long term prospects . I am just a trader using charts and occasionally trade this stock through a CFD either long or short as can go long on my share account because of stamp duty .

NY Boy,Are you not concerned that they are burning around £300m every half?Cash FY22 £1328mCash H1 23 £1008mThat increased their net debt from £577m to £900m.So currently we have a company which will probably have increased it's debt to over £1b while burning £300m every half.This is a zombie company.Cash raise this year without a doubt.Cheers,Niels
