11/4/2024 13:51 | Depends who your broker is. If someone like HL, they aggregate your shares with those of other accounts, so the amount you get could be more than stated if other customers have not taken up their entitlement. If a full service broker your shares are normally designated to you only so you get what the announcement says | pejaten
11/4/2024 10:34 | "It also says CREST accounts credited, that will be your ISA. I should think cheques are only for those who physically hold paper share certificates,m and sent them in." Dunno how I missed that sentence, but I see it now, makes much more sense, thanks. | twatcher
11/4/2024 10:29 | It also says CREST accounts credited, that will be your ISA. I should think cheques are only for those who physically hold paper share certificates,m and sent them in. | noccer
11/4/2024 10:18 | The way its written in the statement I read it as If Y is your total holding You get 24p x 0.6894Y And you end up with 0.31Y in shares So for example if holding 10,000 shares, you end up with £1654 plus 3100 shares. My shares are in an ISA, this payback says that it'll happen as a cheque, is that right, then money is not returned to the ISA, and to do so means eating into this years ISA allowance ? Also if the shares where in an ISA, but the payout is not, what is the CGT implications ? | twatcher
11/4/2024 09:58 | The thing I dislike about this tender offer is I can't figure out how much I might get, does the broker (II) aggregate all holdings or do they have to handle every shareholder separately? I tendered all my shares, so I am hoping to get 24p for 38.5% plus 49.6% of the remaining shares, so 38.5+0.496*61.5 = 69% but I guess I will have to wait up to 2 weeks before I find out. | noccer
11/4/2024 09:44 | Dave - we were stitched by a slippery ceo ..not for the first time and certainly not for the last. He now has plenty of cash to look after himself - and for a good few years if not stopped! I was promised 10 - 12p and it now transpires it was conditional? BT forgot to mention that bit??? lol | barkbooo
11/4/2024 09:29 | Interesting to see what happens to the share price after the 125m -10% of shares are cancelled, but £30m less in the kitty. | katsy
11/4/2024 09:12 | The entire thing is IMHO a fiasco, but we are where we are , like it or not. So I have tendered 33% and will now wait and see what happens to the share price. Sub 12p I may buy more , anything above and I will just sit it out and pray for some decent contracts towards what I had believed as fair value. | millwallfan
11/4/2024 08:45 | good or not ? | septblues
11/4/2024 08:41 | Can somebody explain how that is “returning 10 to 12 p per share to shareholders”? | davemac3
11/4/2024 08:25 | True, how the shares move in the near term is less material than the news flow going forward. Let's hope the management have learnt from their experiences over the last years and move forward with a spring in their step. | and1
11/4/2024 08:15 | be glad to move on to a different subject. hopefully business developments and successes. | jfacwc
11/4/2024 07:49 | Allocation of tendered shares announced this AM. | weatherman
10/4/2024 12:23 | "As the share price didn't move a jot when the Samsung money hit Nano's bank account, I would expect very little movement in share price after tender offer. If was optimistic it maybe slightly higher.." It didn't move when the money "hit" because it was known exactly how much and when the money was going to "hit" months prior. If was when the settlement was announced that the share price reacted. | twatcher
10/4/2024 11:35 | "Spnpaintnstullndryi Apologies for being an utter moron again here still sitting on massive losses on Angle Plc...Late night on the tiles again so got abit mixed up with BB's | bones699
10/4/2024 09:48 | If they have 26m in cash that is 13p a share but with sales of 6m/a and hopefully rising that can give it another market cap of upto 3x say 8p, so share price of 21p is max, maybe as low as 17p if you attribute less market cap for its current business. | and1
10/4/2024 08:57 | That’s why BT gave us nothing - just took the cash and offered us a gamble! No thanks! | barkbooo

09/4/2024 18:08 | As the share price didn't move a jot when the Samsung money hit Nano's bank account, I would expect very little movement in share price after tender offer. If was optimistic it maybe slightly higher.. | beeezzz

09/4/2024 15:13 | Page 41 of the circular " In addition to the Tender Offer, following the expiration of the Tender Offer, the Company intends to return a further sum of up to £3.0 million by way of an on-market share buyback of Ordinary Shares". Looking elsewhere in the circular "expiration of the Tender offer" is clearly some significant time after 9 April. | tbow112
09/4/2024 12:42 | Immediately post tender if fully subscribed the company will have £26m cash with 200m shares outstanding..13p cash per share against previous circa 18p cash per share. My understanding is the £3m on market share buyback can commence tomorrow but that has not been confirmed. Will the organic business experience a significant rerating as a result of the cash distribution we will see over the next few weeks. But if one apportions the value attributed pre announced distribution mechanism across the smaller amount of shares in issue. Take 20p pre , 2p enterprise value on 324m share outstanding so £6.5m if you divide that by reduced shares in issue gives 3.25p on top of cash per share. For the shares to remain at 21p the organic business would have to jump to £16m (8p per share) Stranger things have happened I guess. | kooba
09/4/2024 11:37 | I am not sure of logic that Nanoco shares should be worth more after tender offer and buyback. If they were profitable or impending good news maybe. If market perceived that outlook was not good then they could be valued on residual cash which would provide a share price of 11.5p. Less than that would be cheap... | unglove |
