I did post this in March but no one seemed interested. In March they had a few issues 2.25minutes. Maybe this could have been one of the programs nanoco have been working on. It stated sales second quarter. So keeping to the time line with the launch today. Plus it was around the time slip ups of the nanoco parrot appeared. I hate that we have to search and never receive clarification.

guys video is now showing the prerecording of earlier. 24.30 minutes in. European design. Small segment but it does include the new p5 processor. The model is 8602. Lots on the oled.

Yes indeed. That monitor is not new. A previous attempt at qd by Philips. It did contain cadmium. Not what is currently being released

I will be very surprised indeed if it's anything other than Nanoco/Wah Hong.

Also it appears Panasonic may be releasing some details of forthcoming QD TV's, and we've yet to see what Samsung will be pulling out of the bag. I'm hoping for a QD filter screen, Samsung will need to up their game to maintain their crown in the next 12 months or so.

Well some one on the investor hangout site states they confirmed that the monitors will be Cd free with the MMD rep. But I guess that could still be Nanosys Cd light or worse QTM

Philips appear to be pitching themselves as tree huggers, so I don't see how cad, or cad light QD film would work with that.

There has not been an NDA disclosure with either Samsung or LG when the both wanted to use supply from DOW.It would not make sense for any OEM NOT to highlight CFQDs for sale purposes.They need to act now as any new venture they take up with Nanosys cadmium will be binned within 2 years.The risk v short term supply has a big risk!

I understand all the arguments (protestations?) that the city buys reality, not dreams, and if you weigh up the supposed prospects (stellar) against the negatives (phenomenal lack of clarity, over promising, etc) you are left with an all time (kind of - I believe aeons ago it may have been lower) low share price. And in a solid downtrend. I will wait until this is heading up. I've previously said I will wait for £1. I will stick with that buy target for now ( coupled with sustainable sales). Anyone buying at this share price will be seen as a hero at £1+. But not if Nano is trading sub 1p in a year or two.

I am not sure how much will come of the press conference itself. I can't see that Phillips will name anyone down their supply chain like even Wah Hong let alone Nanoco. I have also never seen any of the hacks that cover these events get anywhere close to asking where a company sources it's panels or QDs. On the whole they have little or no understanding or interest in the supply chain. Articles will just be about how it looks and rates against other displays including aesthetics, sound, OS, etc. The hacks will just swallow and regurgitate the Phillips marketing line.
I think it will need Wah Hong or Nanoco themselves to announce they are the QD supplier (if indeed they are) and they may have NDAs to adhere to.
It is all getting very close to the wire now.

Interesting that the short position is now at its lowest in over four years. I'm sure the present share price has much to do with that, but perhaps an indication that things are unlikely to move lower.

Philips news conference tomorrow, fingers crossed for some good news, we could do with it.

So the last placing 105p. Current price 26. Looking how Moni holders have been sh@fted, what is stopping ME and nanoco doing the same?? Screwing everyone with a low takeover bid? I mean come on really DOW taking this many years to get up and running. Now finally they are ready and all time low share price
