09/11/2020 15:21 | And so the MWG roller coaster ride continues! I bought at around 11p some years back and also at 0.6p this year. For now I just hold, Que Sera Sera. Absolutely no idea what will happen with DVRG "Quaz", but at least we are still in business with "I think" a better chance of future success than remaining as MWG. Great news on the vaccine though! | aylesone
09/11/2020 11:15 | My HL account shows an MWG line for £0.00 now, but with a note saying Assented Takeover Line. Expecting it to change over shortly. | vs9
09/11/2020 10:42 | I can still buy MWG shares, but can't sell existing holding on Barclays. | riskblue
09/11/2020 09:21 | HSBC hasn't been showing MWG or DVRG since I voted although the value has been added to the portfolio. Am relaxed as not trading anyway but I take the point the sooner it appears the better. Hopefully we start to get some RNSs too and not just on Covid plays! | tickboo
09/11/2020 09:13 | Mine are still listed as MWG but cannot trade any of them | monkey puzzle
09/11/2020 08:38 | Mine still showing as MWG. | filthypoor
09/11/2020 08:33 | Should be there this afternoon after 1pm. Hopefully! | shark fund
09/11/2020 08:31 | judijudi at least your account are showing shares mine have disappeared altogether, was expecting to see them this morning. I hope this isn't a case of spending time on the phone trying to argue I had shares in these where are they. | katsy
09/11/2020 08:27 | That’s that all sorted then 😀👌 However I voted (yes of course) a few weeks ago and yet the shares in my account are still MWG. Should these not now be DVRG? | judijudi
08/11/2020 09:47 | I agree , don’t think Gb should be here ,he’s been over enthusiastic and misleading with comments like ( cannot contain my excitement) months ago and we’re sitting here at 2.8p and I think shareholders have been railroaded into a yes vote . The 10: 1 ratio was s take it or leave it. Don’t know if I like what’s been going on here, time will tell | cammy5
07/11/2020 23:22 | So quit brown nosing Mr Brandon (who I fundamentally don't think should be posting in here at all) and give me a break. | quazie12
07/11/2020 23:21 | The whole point I have tried to make is that ordinary punters are not and should not be expected to know the Takeovers/mergers rules. What they should expect is their dealing platforms to be informative and clear about the shareholder options in a takeover like this. Hargreaves Lansdown have failed completely and it looks like other platforms too | quazie12
07/11/2020 23:18 | In fact why dont you Mr Expert, spell out what happens if 75% acceptances are reached but not 90%.You dont have a clue, do you ? | quazie12
07/11/2020 23:17 | AylesoneWhy don't you try and read my post properly instead of missing the point completely ? And just to pick up on a very minor point the CEO doesnt post on this Board ffs. Don't you understand what I am highlighting ffs ? | quazie12
07/11/2020 21:59 | Quaz ...., I don't get what you are complaining about. All shareholders have been told about this over and over, even the CEO has posted several times trying to help people. They have now extended the deadline. He can't do anymore than that. | aylesone
07/11/2020 15:09 | As we both know the consequences when you reach 75% you will just delist. So effectively we are being forced into accepting the offer or selling in the market. HL should spell that out to prevent innocent shareholders being serious unwitting losers. Opaque at best and by the way you are too | quazie12
07/11/2020 14:59 | You miss the whole point of my post Mr Brandon. I am unhappy that the consequences of not selling or swapping in advance of the deadline are not being spelt out to shareholders especially if the 90% is not achieved. The process is at best opaque. That is exactly what a bulletin board is for, swapping views and knowledge. | quazie12
06/11/2020 12:16 | French prosecutors say they have dismantled a network offering fake coronavirus tests at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. Seven people have been arrested for providing fake certificates showing negative results for the virus. It began with a passenger on a flight to Ethiopia, who checked in – as requested – with a certificate saying he was not infected with Covid-19. That certificate was found to be false, leading to the discovery of seven people, working as luggage-wrappers at the airport, who are alleged to have provided fake certificates to travellers who needed them. The local deputy prosecutor said 200 fake certificates, bearing the names of real Parisian medical laboratories, were found on the mobile phones of the accused, and would have been sold for between 150 and 300 euros each. | monkey puzzle
06/11/2020 10:34 | If DVRG acquire >= 90% of MWG share capital then the remaining 10% will be acquired by default. | filthypoor
06/11/2020 10:12 | Although this will be very unfortunate for those who may slip through the cracks and not transfer their shares over to DVRG. This can only be good for DVRG shareholders as the amount of shares in issue would be lower than expected whilst also fully acquiring MWG assets. Last count was 406M against 502M shares in issue. | katsy
06/11/2020 10:00 | The deadline for you to elect has now been extended to 12 November 2020. Under the terms of the offer, if you wish to sell your shares to DeepVergere plc, your account will be credited with 1 new DeepVergere plc share in exchange for every 10 Modern Water Plc held. | filthypoor
06/11/2020 09:06 | The exchange of DeepVerge shares for MWG shares will create a subsidiary of MWG inside DeepVerge who will own the shares of MWG, as a private company, just like any other subsidiary. The benefit is the enlarged shareholders of DVRG and the assets and subdivisions of MWG will carry on to operate as they are, under the new management and new business model of DVRG. All the tax losses of MWG will be for the benefit of the enlarged Company also. | monkey puzzle |
