I don't really see how comments about the presentation should 'scare people off'. I think it is the contrary. We are saying that the fundamentals of the company are even stronger now than when people were buying into the 4p range, and these fundamentals were reasons to buy in. Basically, what is being said is that these shares are cheap as hell..

My post was aimed at holding hands up and reassuring as the future is bright and not reliant on Covid.

Do we have to keep rehashing this argument over and over again, it just puts people off reading BBs and may well encourage the nervous types to sell which not what you are intending I'm sure but it comes across like that when people just keep on moaning all the time and to be honest I am bored with the whole thing. Get over it, it's happened, time to look forwards not backwards.

* I think GB was a little too enthusiastic on twitter which resulted in the share price rising in the run up to the presentation and RNS and also then promising a reveal in the presentation

Totally agree, tickboo. Ecoli and similar bacterial infections are a bigger threat long term.

I think GB was a little too enthusiast on twitter which resulted in the raise before the presentation and RNS and then promising a reveal in the presentation. I don't think it was for helium or anyone else to sell in to, he was just enthusiastic IMO. I do think trust with a fair few holders has to be repaired and I'm sure he will be aware of this and will know creating sustainable shareholder value is the way to go and releasing clear and positive RNSs the way forward. I hope the takeover doc is published and we can move forwards ASAP. I wrote the below on the presentation day and still believe it and the recent RNS and first real-time contract illustrates my point further. I have to agree I think the real-time water detection was neglected in the presentation. I understand they had to explain the breathalyser as it is new as of today but the real-time monitoring is where it's at. I imagine there will be a fair few new tests launched next year and although our one with the digital/passport element sounds great the real-time water detection is even more important and sets us apart. We've done this already with ecoli and yes this was mentioned but took a back seat. We should have been singing from the rooftops about this and how it can transform societies all over. More questions on the breathalyser rather than reinforcing confidence on the real-tone wastewater detection which will be transformational. The breathalyser is a bonus but for me the main play was underplayed today.

Yes but they cannot make a billion overnight but the current management here is definitely damaging And is looking possibly either i competence or intentional which harms investors although the day to day running of the company would be fine. GB did say he cared about his wonderful hardworking team. However if investors are Mot looked after the company will be worthless, I personally have made a big loss but believed in this company although now i am questioning it’s motives.

Mayne it is time for GB to take some positive action and make an announcement...

Sometimes you can be so close to something that you can't actually see how bad an idea it is. Almost reminded me of a Dragons Den moment where one guy sunk his whole life savings and mortgage into a device that gets the last drops of drink out of those drink cartons. The Dragons laughed him out the den.

Nothing has changed here-the tech for waste water is good and possibly world class. GB just got carried away on the breath test-water is about far more than Covid-and he no doubt started imagining himself CEO of a potential billion pound business with the answer to coronavirus. Mistake. He should concentrate on the basics of both businesses-the combination has real potential-and there is plenty of need for this tech. He should forget about appeasing BB posters on Advfn, Twitter and LSE. He over promised but that is down to naivety. Hopefully lesson learnt.

Question is now how to go forward and How or if the merger will still go ahead from the announcement next week. Was all this intentional to keep the price down??

Guess he got wrong advice from the brokers. The share price was happy in the mid 30's after merger announcement (synergy benefits were recognised). There was awaited the first tests on compatibility with the Avacta reagent and the sensors: this was all aimed at the waste and other water analyses, where the kits were already identified. All this fitted out perfectly for the business model, and such news on its own would have confirmed that model and the way forward: the share price would have had a nice rise on this alone. The Investors 'meeting' should have remained on this, and maybe later have another announcement about new developing ideas. Instead, it was all centred about these new ideas and not at the success of being on track with the base business model. I think he was wrongly advised.

Agentb lse-Opportunity in Paris? It seems that Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris is ready to spend 1.4 bn Euros cleaning up the River Seine in advance of Paris hosting the 2024 Olympic Games. The worry is that the water is contaminated with Leptospirosis (Weil's Disease) from rats - which could cause illness in any athletes/visitors who take a dip. GB, do our sensors pick up Leptospirosis? If so, perhaps a conversation with Ms Hidalgo is in order?https://www.lefigaro.fr/actualite-france/la-maladie-du-rat-inquiete-les-autorites-en-vue-des-jo-de-paris-2024-20201001

Some decent posts on lse -Watertech5-https://qz.com/1910540/wastewater-testing-for-covid-19-is-straining-supply-chains/amp/So many communities are testing poop for Covid-19, equipment is running out.As the Covid-19 pandemic continues on in the US, state and municipal groups are scrambling to find ways to track of new cases and potential outbreaks. One such method: scanning sewage for bits of the SARS-CoV-2 virus itself........ Why the big fuss over sewage monitoring? Wastewater-based epidemiology has the potential to be a cost-effective complement to clinical testing. Because individuals often shed bits of the virus in their fecal matter before they come down with Covid-19, it can be a way of tracking where outbreaks are about to happen. In a small enough community-like a university campus-public health officials have been able to see spikes in SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater, test dorm residents, and isolate the few people who tested positive even when they weren't showing

Unfortunately not that exciting yet, one ctm and consumables confirmed with an organisation that they were already working with. When the Aberdeen tests are confirmed we should be expecting a lot more than this.
