"They said w/c 12 October, let's give them a chance at least."

Yes, but this is the 3rd time, the 3rd week it has been due and going to be released.

Kick the can too long, and it turns into the bucket.

Last 50,000 is a BUY. Was 3.2% cheaper buying MWG than DVRG. Hopefully one and the same very soon...

I doubt there will be further delays, that would look poor. To be fair there are many different parties who contribute and have to sign the doc off which is why they take time. They could have built this into the initial delay request but things change. Hopefully it will arrive before Friday and not lastminute.com

Any more delays - and like waste water

it'll be down the plug-hole.

Documents should be finally out this week. Would be transformational for both companies due to the synergistic benefits.

The monitoring side has a better future as the margins are much better. If the scale of the business increases due to high demand for instrumentation and selling consumable on a repetitive order then it can be very profitable. Not that much overheads involved. I would like to know if the manufacturing of the instrumentation and electronics are made inhouse or under contract.

Selling membrane plants and processes are not that lucrative. I do not know what the collaborative agreement involves. However cost involved with tendering for a project, pilot plant studies, design and contracting, installation and commissioning, troubleshooting, guarantees for the process performance and having an engineering department and personnel overhead are quite high. Project wins are not many to sustain the membrane business. Past performance suggest it gobble up cash that is why there is many fund raising.

I see your point but disagree as believe it could generate decent cash. We are going down the partnership route which means we have to spend less cash and although our slice is smaller there is less cash and therefore risk. We have great tech and going a collaborative route means we can begin to generate cash from these divisions. 13 May RNS and surely more to come -Modern Water is pleased to announce that, following the collaboration agreement with Ion Exchange (India) Ltd (RNS: 23 December 2019 [i] ), an order for stage one of a two stage project with a total value of c. GBP900,000 project has been received. The estimated net value to Modern Water for stage one is approximately GBP50,000 and for both stages is between c. GBP235,000 and c. GBP270,000. The project consists of an initial pilot plant for the zero-liquid-discharge system of the Company's All-Membrane Brine Concentration ("AMBC") plant and is expected to reduce the operational costs of wastewater treatment for the specialty chemical production facility of our collaboration partner. On completion of stage one, it is intended that a larger plant is to be installed with the smaller pilot AMBC plant to be used for demonstration with our collaboration partner's clients in projects across India, Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia . Simon Humphrey, CEO of Modern Water, commented: "Even with travel restrictions imposed by COVID19, demand for the Company's patented AMBC technology as a critical component of our end-to-end wastewater monitoring and recovery solution is growing. This first order from our Indian collaborators builds on, and is complementary to, the recent transformation of the Company's business model that has helped improve sales in our global monitoring division, with its 30 year global footprint of the Microtox range of products and services."Ajay Popat, President of Ion Exchange (India), added:"As we said on signing of our collaboration agreement, Modern Water's technology, both brine concentration and forward osmosis, are innovative and the right strategic fit to further improve competitiveness and attractiveness of our Zero Liquid Discharge solutions and brine recovery processes to our customers. We are now ready to move to the first installation as we deepen our working relationship with Modern Water."

I think in the combined group, the membrane processes group and 'Other process' should be closed, extract as much value as possible and IPR sold as they are not so profitable. This would generate some cash to expand the monitoring division.

Sobering thought, with the offer document due from Skin by Friday with their current share price @ 2.85p pre consolidation, the value of the deal has dropped from £21,000,000 to circa £15,300,000, this deal is NOT good for MWG!!
