Unbelievable. The post has arrived and have several letters from HSBC (good in ISAs and normal account) re MWG and SNG. Boom.

Nice. HSBC took ages to recognise DVRG I assume because they are execution only. Anyway, I will get back in touch with them on Friday. I do not want to take any risks and want confirmation my shares have been transferred.

I got an email from the CA team explaining the situation and to reply to the email accepting or declining
I have just received another email from them acknowledging my acceptance vote

Is there a document they are looking at with votes attached. HSBC cannot get its head around there being no meeting or proxy with resolutions.

From my brokers corporate action team

The takeover will not go ahead unless the offer is declared unconditional in all respects. Unconditional in all respects means that DeepVerge has received acceptances from Shareholders for 75% of the shares in issue and all the other conditions of the offer have been fulfilled.

Where does it say that?

yes, at this rate only people holding large % shares will be management and they will vote yes but their shares are falling in value for when they though this was a good idea.... they are losing a lot of money daily.

Does the merger need 50% or 90% or vote?

OH,

You could well be right, just seen 250k sell on MWG followed by a 25k buy on DVRG.

yes, looks like many just selling MWG and buying DVRG just to avoid the hassle as now DVRG looks at a good SP, though I am aware of the extra selling / buying cost debate.

Same as that. HSBC are execution only and are confused there is no meeting and proxy with resolutions. I have explained it is a transfer of shares. I will give them until the end of the week and hassle them some more.

im afraid later in Nov as the votes by Nov 3 then the results then a date for merger if agreed, then time for funds to get ready to adjust as all holding accounts will need to be reset... Not very happy really...

Price destroyed by “you know who” and the delays

When is the merger going to finally done and dusted? Is it 3 Nov or later in the month? Seems to be taking a long time now and probably explains the continued share price drift. However, on the positive side not seeing any declarations of selling by those with more than 1% in either MWG or DVRG so guess it's still smaller traders doing the bulk of the selling, shame that MMs seem to be reacting so negatively to such small volumes every day.

without any market news till result of the vote this could easily be back 2p. How the price has been destroyed by the merger taking so long...

With the humph still in charge anything could happen, he destroyed mwg resulting in the rescue by tin pot which has made them a fortune.
