Shein's annual revenue is nearly 10 billion US dollars, double that of last year, but not up to internal expectations..

Next's annual revenues are roughly half, this is a huge statement of where this company is headed, this from European market that hadn't really taken off in first half of last year due to covid.

Other major brands will surely follow with other series etc, snowball effect and all that.

More deals done, programme has high ratings where ever you look.

A Norwegian series created in 2015 and adapted since in France, Italy, Germany and Spain, SKAM follows the daily life of several high school students and deals, each season, with an issue linked to this very special period of adolescence.

Advertiser SHEIN, an international online clothing sales platform for Millennials, has chosen the next-generation product placement developed by British start-up Mirriad and will be present throughout Season 7.

Mirriad has developed an augmented reality process that allows SHEIN to integrate its brand naturally into SKAM episodes in post-production in a supportive and consistent manner. Thus, the brand will appear as a poster in outdoor scenes and as shopping bags in indoor scenes.

A true phenomenon among Millennials, SKAM has accumulated more than 5.7 million videos viewed over seasons 5 and 6.

Given the US investor base I am a little disappointed we have not been able to bring the trading update forward a couple of weeks. US PLCs tend to be a little faster as they report quarterly so I expected ours to be published by now. That said I am looking forward and hope we have some decent detail. I assume it will be with us before end of next week.

I'm no expert with advertising, in my mind each business model has own merits, it will certainly have less back office expense for Mirriad.

"Which is better"

Well, the MIRI will appear to have a higher margin right? But the bottom line is the bottom line, however you end up there. EPS is all that counts

There's a vast difference in how Bidstack and Mirriad report revenues, not sure everyone has grasped the importance of how these are generated by both businesses. Bidstack receive gross advertising revenues from which they pay game publisher, say Codemasters etc, looking at last accounts Bidstack retain around 28%.

Mirriad receive revenue share from partners, for example Tencent pay ~25% of revenues received from advertising, that's a net payment received there's no further revenue split.

It is obvious if you look at the accounts for the two businesses, thought it might be worth pointing out before the trading updates are issued to avoid confusion if anyone attempts to compare the two.

An update on the first tier 1 partner would be good, have the 4 programmes been worked on and how if the embryonic relationship developing? From the RNS -While there is no immediate income linked to the signing of this agreement, it instead sets out the terms and conditions for doing business. It covers both network syndication and streaming, allowing the new tier one partner to expand the use of Mirriad's technology to any of its US distribution platforms and content. In the first phase, four high rating programmes are being cleared for release to the advertising market.

Also expecting news of another Tier 1 client in the not too distant future. After that I imagine they'll have more orders than they know what to do with. Would be great if it were the likes of Coca Cola
