Yertiz called this correctly at sub 150p while Minerve was calling it downwards (wrong as usual) and Meanwhile was having one of his 'wobbles' and getting terribly troubled by bonus payments. Well done to Yertiz I say. This is now back to being one of my top 5 holdings although Halma continues to power ahead (now over 1800). Will it be £3 by Xmas after all??

Thanks MEANWHILE

Looking forward to the photo.

You could spend a whole life listening to the dullard 3 (maybe 4) and not learn anything.

So far so good today regarding the share price

Have almost finished repairing our gate arch. Roses coming on quickly. Pity it’s going to get cold again over the weekend.

Welcome back, Minerve.

It's been very dull here over the last few days, goats, dogs, gardening, boating.

A wallet photo is imminent.

"I would be telling candidates from the main parties what I think in no uncertain terms."

Oh, I bet they would be scared. LOL

You have zero influence on anyone. Time for a reality check.

They say the same in the Forest of Dean.

What do you call a sheep tied to a tree in the FoD? A leisure centre.

Probably the same in Snowdonia!!!

Yertiz - "Quite fancy the idea of a goat to keep the grass down!"

Not just the grass, they'll eat anything, many years ago a neighbour had some and she was forever telling me about the times they nicked all the washing of the line haha.

"I understand from Mrs Jackdaw that the voting slips are at the house,I said if we have a Jedi Knight or Darth Vader standing vote for them."

Good brexiteer advice. Vote for any party, however ridiculous their policies, other than Conservative, Labour, Liberal and SNP. A vote for a non-establishment party is no longer a wasted vote.

Sadly we don’t have any council elections otherwise I would be telling candidates from the main parties what I think in no uncertain terms.

I have a good friend who keeps Alpaca, there's no call for the wool and we're not too sure on what roasting times they need! Cute animals with a top knot, very tame and friendly. Goats, on the other hand....

Just waiting for the next canvasser to appear on our doorstep, if they are out to disrupt all aspects of the European Council they will get my vote. If they are serious about their position they'll get both barrels..lol.

You could go very "Green" keep goats, make cheese out of the milk or sheep and get Mrs Y. a spinning wheel and loom.

Reminded me of 'Spitting Image' - Mrs T sitting in a Cabinet meeting when the waiter enters the scene to take their lunch orders....'.....and the vegetables?'....'They'll have the same as me'.

Mrs Y doesn't do gardening so I have to look after our 1/3rd acre plot. Quite fancy the idea of a goat to keep the grass down!

Hi Losos

Hope you are both well.

Yes, another good day for Melrose. The trend is upwards.

I’m rather like you in the garden. I grow the flowers and vegetables from seed where necessary, then Mrs B+ looks after the flowers and I look after and cook the vegetables.

'afternoon all :-)

Have been out in the garden a lot, have a couple of apple and pears and one plum, love eating them straight of the tree in summer so tasty, also do a bit of soft fruit but Mrs. Losos deals with the flowers. I have problems telling a daffodil from a tulip haha.

I'm not concerned about what is behind the MRO share price rise just pleased to see that it seems to have some momentum, the future is looking good :-)

Who’s a busy boy?

Yes, lost the blossom on our crab apple tree. We only have a smallish garden - ideal for the two of us - made up for by the location which is stunning. Fields on both sides with sheep, horse, cows, pheasants, etc. Just walk through the gate and we have fabulous walking.

Blossom abounds on my fruit trees. Azaleas all in flower too - superb display of red, pink and yellow (highly scented) flowers. After this weekend gales I thought we would lose most of the displays but the only blooms lost were a few tulips and some on the magnolias (done their stuff anyway).

All three water butts maxed out and overflowing. No leaks, thankfully. Greenhouse contents sprouting nicely, and my onions, broad beans, leeks and cavolo nero all showing through too.

Now off to paint a couple of metal gates and power wash the front wall.

Morning Yertiz

Yes, my teams didn’t do too well.

I know what you mean by exhausted. In early 2000s Glos won the league by about 20 points, but lost in the playoff final. Performances slipped in the last few weeks. And Glos got absolutely nothing, so the rules changed.

Lots of football managers in trouble. Gillingham too.

How is your garden? We have lots to plant out, and our water butt sprang a leak. Friend gave us another so have to transfer the tap.
