Brexit

You and your fellow numpties do not seem to read properly. MEANWHILE never stated that all farmers are imbeciles, just the one next door.

That is why YOU are an imbecile. :) LOL

gettingrichnever is equally stupid in his understandings.

MW. Are you sure that it’s the farmer that’s the complete imbecile? Is it because he can’t do sums? By calling him an imbecile you prove yourself no better than minerve calling the rest of us morons. I’m sure you wouldn’t say it to his face.

I know quite a few farmers locally, all of whom are much wealthier than me, who are very sensible people.

Come on now.
Minerve and I get along, despite differences.
The postman, I get along with him. We discussed brexit this morning.
The farmer next door, despite him being a complete imbecile, we get along.

Why can't you all just get along?

MORE GOOD NEWS FROM GKN

Tails for Predator B Series Aircraft to be Built in the UK

FARNBOROUGH AIRSHOW – July 2018 – General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA‑ASI) and GKN Aerospace have declared their intent to collaborate on composite tails for GA-ASI’s Predator® B Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) series via a Letter of Interest (LOI) signed here today.

“We are pleased to expand our relationship with GKN Aerospace as part of our growing industrial collaboration team in the UK,” said Linden Blue, CEO, GA-ASI. “We have seen the results of GKN Aerospace’s extensive experience in advanced composite manufacturing first-hand and look forward to working with its team.”

GA-ASI has been partnered with GKN Aerospace’s Fokker business unit in the Netherlands since 2016 for production and sustainment of Predator B/MQ-9 Reaper® landing gear subsystems. In April of this year, GKN Aerospace Deutschland and GA-ASI entered into a Technical Assistance Agreement (TAA) to expand GA-ASI’s carbon-composite manufacturing capabilities significantly by manufacturing major aerostructures for MQ-9B SkyGuardian, the latest evolution of the multi-mission Predator B, in Germany.

Not just walking. Variety. The older you get the more variety, exercise, personal contact, new experiences, mental stimulation you need otherwise you stagnate, grow old more quickly and end up criticising everything and everybody. Well, that’s just my opinion.

But as you say, each to his own.

Each to their own Brexit. Walking all day long would bore me silly although I understand its appeal to others.

You can't be an expert in investing if you spend all your time walking, eating a drinking. That is just a fact of life. To be an expert you have to immerse yourself deeply and commit above all other things - like me. Sorry, you probably were not aware of that.:)

That is why you are not an expert, just an average Joe in the morons' den, which is ADVFN!

“keeping up with the Jones’s”.

Yeah right! Until you lose by the sounds of it! LOL

You really are a half-wit. Typical Brexit numpty. A heightened belief in your own ability and in reality you are average, like the England football team.

6 games. 3 losses, 2 wins against pub teams and a draw with a lucky penalty win.

Football coming home? LOL

Hi Yertiz

Since school I’ve always found Maslow’s hierarchy of needs useful. Happily I’m in excellent health, have enough to do what I want, and couldn’t care less about “keeping up with the Jones’s”.

I’ve tended to find with some types of people that the more they have the more they want, and they suffer from delusions of grandeur. You know. Always being right, looking down on people, keep telling others how much they have. Funnily the people whose politics suggest otherwise are the worst - liberals to the fore.

Have a good day investing folks.

Whenever you are ready about the Telegraph article Brexit.

One thing is for sure, the RAF will not hold the neanderthal prejudices that half-wit Brexit folk like you do. The decision will be placed purely on logistics/cost.

So, just let me know when you are prepared to indulge us with your point about the article. I'll just shoot you down, like I always do.

Oh yes, I forgot, how did you know it was a Merlin engine in the Spitfire? ;)

Hi Yertiz

Only back yesterday afternoon to a pile of annual reports. Plus500 looks interesting on first glance. Halma I find difficult since it seems to rely on regular acquisitions. NMC is a possibility.

Currently Melrose, Syncona and Burford Capital are my favourites. All are unique in their own way.

Yes Wally is Walter Mittyish. Tends to contradict himself a lot. Reminds me of a “companionR21; of a relative. A builder. Always wanted a million in the bank, then got it. He is the stingiest person you could ever know. We made him welcome but he never even brought a bottle to parties. Stays at home playing the markets. Hardly ever goes out. No one in the family wants to know him. Miserable existence.

I’ve always worked on the basis that money isn’t important. Living life to the full with what you’ve got beats everything else. Family, friends, etc. Money has no intrinsic value in the banks. It’s what you do with it that counts.

B+, how are you getting along with your annual reports? Halma & NMC are picking up nicely, Melrose too. Plus 500, Ashtead, UDG reaching new highs so all in all, these are producing strong returns for the major constituents of my portfolio.

I concluded Minerve is nothing but a wind-up merchant who loves to generate a response from us all. No interest in Melrose or investing in general and, like Meanwhile, is an antisocial, vulgar and uneducated version of today's Walter Mitty. Henceforth I will refer to him as Wally.

Where's Wally today?

Are we envious?

B+, I don't think it was Carillion or Polly Peck. I think it may have been a branch of Chicken Cottage in Moss Side. That would fit with thinking Bill's is a step up! This guy is hilarious!

Yes, a treat at Bills, sometimes KFC. Sometimes Cristal by the bucket load, but you wouldn't know what that is like getting. Of course Cristal is horrible, I am sure. What an envious sad little bunch some of you are. LOL

Losing? LOL
Lost the argument? ROFLMAO!
What a comedian you are!

Now you are really starting to sound like a typical Brexit moron.

I sold out of GKN for a 40% return having only held them for 4/5 months. I don't think you've made that in Melrose since they acquired GKN have you? LOL

I was never going to lose. I was invested in the company acquired. If Melrose sack employees I won't lose, I'm not an employee. If the UK fails on Brexit, I have the wherewithal to leave the country - lived in 4 countries before. I can buy myself out of problems.

As far as the general arguments I gave, I'm still right. Nothing has happened to suggest otherwise. What a turnip you are! LOL

There is no point pointing me to an article if it is subscriber only. You either have to indulge us with the argument or commentary or it is pointless.

I am not the one arguing against the comments of the top Airbus executive, you are! LOL

When it comes to what Airbus does, he knows more than you. You are a nobody in that regard. Nothing personal, just a fact!

You can both knock Bills if you like. It isn't really an issue. I never stated it was upmarket. I think somebody can't read properly. I enjoyed the meal with my family and it was good service - good enough for me!

getting

My net-worth really isn't any of your business. Suffice to say, it is more than you will ever acquire. You are not clever enough nor have the right attitude. I know, because I have got the T-shirt, regardless of what you believe. My company was an ADVFN darling back in the day. Fact! ;)

M, I haven’t said anything about Airbus and Remainers. All I have done, as a nobody, is point you, as another nobody, towards an article in the Telegraph purported to have come from a senior executive at Airbus.

Getting. Agreed, several of the worst meals I’ve had, if you could call them that, were at Bills. The second time I only went as my nephew wanted to try Bills.

Finally, I do not intend to report on my bowel movements. Only old codgers do that.

Minerve, you can't even spell snobbery and seem to have forgotten a very big clue you gave away as to the size of your net worth a few months ago! And if you think 'Bill's' is upmarket that tells us all we need to know! It's a cheap chain!
