I agree with Trump. Germany has a huge pile of cash and is first in line for trouble if Russia gets nasty, so should pay its full contribution to NATO. Likewise, relying on Russian oil and gas is like Danegeld - keeps Russia happy but it will always want more.

Trump currently laying into Germany at NATO on defence contribution and dependence on Russian gas.
That's going to really screw with Europhile heads. Nowhere to hide. Lol!

No thanks haha I have one of those little shredder things under my desk, very useful for this kind of stuff. Wonder how they got your address.

Choir rehearsal tonight. All summer songs. May have to finish with Three Lions”. Performance tomorrow followed by wine and nibbles in the churchyard.

I think I may be celebrating my Burford Capital investment.

Come on now, lads. We're all sensible, considerate & tolerant people.

Can't we all just 'get along'.

Here we go again with Minerve accusing others of being 'morons' whilst using language like 'screwing their hoes'!!
How old are you?? Shouldn't you grow up?

Yeah, OK, Brexit you numpty. That is why you have no one on your side who can lead and/or has a plan! LOL

Farage tweets on the fringes whilst screwing is hoe. Other UKIP leaders are either killing their wives, screwing their hoes or forgetting where they actually live!

The Leave campaign has been proven to be corrupt and broke funding rules.

It's a complete and utter shambles and only morons continue to think this is a good idea!

But do carry on! The circus is, I guess, entertaining. ;)

No the intelligent decision is to leave the EU. It’s just holding us back.

All this wonderful, educated chat is great, but at the end-of-the-day, the intelligent decision is to stay in the EU.

Why waste a decent mind on a moronic venture?

Yertiz - "I do believe this was Meanwhile’s passable attempt at humour, credit where it’s due!"

Yes, made me smile, as you say credit where due, and no expletives, crudities, or banal comments also.

A sensible explanation there, eldermon, compared to the extreme positions taken by the extreme members on either side of the remain/leave debate. My only quibble with your wording is that it is the NEED of business (rather than the WISH) to have frictionless trade.

Saw an interesting reference yesterday to a memo written by Dominic Cummings (the organiser of the leave campaign two years ago) that effectively said that it was impossible to come up with a plan to implement a coherent policy on leaving the EU in less than 20,000 pages. Even then, there would innumerable holes in it. In short, they had to keep their campaign focussed on generalities and whip up anger against.... well, everything. And that is exactly what they did.

Since then his political bosses (Davies/Johnson et al - even Gove) have failed to present even the merest hint of a plan: hence the result we have now.

They all dream about a rosy future, but have no idea how to get there.

PS Unfortunately, neither does May.

As i see it the main issues causing the problem are the northern ireland border and the wish of business to have frictionless trade. I think the chequers meeting was a compromise that solved these issues whilst attempting to continue to offer some kind of brexit. All those present at chequers agreed to the proposals. Then in the following days some decided that they no longer agreed to these proposals. Unless those people and others like rees-mogg or even corbyn come up with workable solutions that solve the ni and frictionless trade issues then they shouldn't criticise may for having done so.

Ha ha ha, ho ho ho!

Have you Brexit numpties got anyone capable of leading? ROFLMAO!

Next time you decide to do something, here is some advice:

1: Know exactly what you want;
2: Have a plan; and
3: Have the personnel capable of executing said plan!

ROFLMAO!

Loses- I do believe this was Meanwhile’s passable attempt at humour, credit where it’s due!

So DD and BJ bite the dust, down but certainly not out. May is surrounding herself with cronies, strong element of remoaners, the worst being Jeremy C Hunt as FS. Disaster waiting to happen, principles out the window and Brexit means, er, what exactly?

Losos,
Which horse would you recommend talking to at Hickstead, for share tips, and would a gift of some kind, say fruit, be of any benefit.

gettingrichslow - Thanks for that mention of N4P never went near it but might have a quick look at the board if only to see how not to get hooked haha.

MEANWHILE - You might be surprised to eavesdrop around the parade rings at places like Hickstead, while ostensibly perusing the horses, there are a many who discuss all sorts of business matters including tips on the latest company 'dead cert' Just like we do on here with N4P for example :-)

Yertiz - One of my blueberries caught the frost earlier and I'm not sure it's going survive. In the style of all good investors I'm all for cutting my losses and pulling it out of the pot, but Mrs. Losos says no, she thinks it may recover, unlike Mrs. May who it seems is definately doomed haha.

If anyone on here wants to give themselves a cautionary lesson and has twenty mins to spare, check out the N4P board on this site, starting with all the highly bullish posts in, say, June 2018, then read on until the present day!! This is a company that I was assured could do no wrong but I avoided it thankfully - I hope none of you on here were invested.

Yes I know - waiting too long for a dip that never happened!

At least my other shares are ticking up nicely today - strange when the market hates uncertainty, or perhaps May's demise was never in dispute!
