03/5/2012 15:14 | MTG - I think loq was feeling a bit bruised after the last ip battle. They very reluctantly settled that in favour of an aggressive patent troll in order to avoid unlimited lawyers' fees. With a much stronger cash position, and as the market's grown, more to lose, I imagine TB is taking a more robust view of patent infringement. | supernumerary
03/5/2012 14:51 | Clue-Less springs to mind.. spud | spud
03/5/2012 12:45 | Q-Less describe their system as the only one of its kind(!) Their home page footnote says 'patent pending' which kinda suggests a weaker position. But if they have been marketing the system since 2007, how come Lo-Q have only now submitted an infringement claim?? Lo-Q has been around since 2000. | m.t.glass
03/5/2012 09:21 | Good find riv. Perhaps they will settle in shares? (in QLess of course!) spud | spud
02/5/2012 19:03 | Looks like the breach of patent case against Q-Less has been filed for a jury decision: | rivaldo
01/5/2012 16:09 | Yup, could be.. I've repurchased 7.5k thus far & have another 7.5k to go. I guess we'll see an RNS on Monday which could have us well over £3 again so i'd better get it in before then. spud | spud

01/5/2012 08:58 | Looks like the news of Universal's likely tie-up with LOQ is spreading. This is from yesterday: Extract: "Universal Orlando is testing a newer version of Universal Express kind of bringing back the old program they had when Universal Express frist started and it well be powered by Lo-Q and the device name is called the Q-Bot. He's been used in Six Flags for years and now other popular theme parks such as Dollywood and now Universal Orlando well be jumping the band wagon soon. Private testing has begun for the newer program and we could see in going live it the next few months if all goes well." "As they've already installed it on many attractions and with team member testing beginning tomorrow from May 2-May 3rd that well help Universal really understand if it's a great program." And also this from 22nd April: "In addition to that, Universal revealed that the resort is planning on expanding the existing Express service by adding a device (known as Lo-Q) that will tell guests when they can come back to the specific attraction they plan to visit, without having to wait in line at all, it seems." | rivaldo
01/5/2012 08:25 | So - what's going on here then? :o)) | rivaldo

24/4/2012 16:44 | Without further news, I've got this at circa 240-250p before too long. I sold about 10% of my holding a couple of weeks ago and am looking to buy it back at about that value. The 7k turn should facilitate a half decent beach holiday. spud | spud
20/4/2012 09:36 | Indeed. spud | spud
20/4/2012 09:32 | Director buying just announced - encouraging to see a non-exec buying a decent amount (£23k at 285p): | rivaldo
19/4/2012 14:22 | Yup - Looking forward to the Universal deal which should be a formality, if any of the other comtact uptakes are anything to go by. Once that's sealed then hold onto your hats as the endorsabilty will be huge. spud | spud
19/4/2012 13:04 | Simple answer...No still time TB answer at recent AGM and Presentation....Stil We know there are trials and immense interest in the new products so.... | davidosh
19/4/2012 12:48 | Was hoping for a couple of contract wins ahead of the season opening. Do you think they are off the table for now? | horndean eagle
17/4/2012 14:36 | Well said davidosh - LoQ now a large part of my SIPP - expect to see further rises in due course but only natural some retraction from time to time especially when perfectly good reasons put forward which are not bad news for the business case. | charlesdar
15/4/2012 23:31 | supernumerary....Tot It amazes me how some begrudge sharing the success. I am certainly eternally grateful to all at LOQ past and present and it is a British success story. Stop knocking it...there has been no bad behaviour here by directors that I have seen and I watch it very closely as my largest investment. | davidosh
15/4/2012 21:41 | I really couldn't care less why he sold the shares - best of luck to him - he's done alright by me and quite a few others here. As for the options at 3.5p (not 3p) they were issued back in 2005 and I don't recall them as being rebased or discounted - that was around the share price at the time ;¬) Over the years the directors here have bought shares, mostly kept their options and any shares purchased through them, minimised dilution, and generally done right by small shareholders. I wish I could say the same about the rest of AIM. 95% of the BoDs I've seen on AIM when the going got difficult would have simply found a gullible institution and issued 100M shares at 2p each, killing off the PIs in the process. These guys knuckled down, and got us to where we are now, and I at least will be eternally grateful. | supernumerary |
