Octopus currently hold 1394000 shares - 8.14%.

I wonder if they will take more and if so, does this represent a conflict of interest?

Matt Cooper went through a very torrid time at Imaginatik a couple of years ago. Some very nasty boardroom shenanigans played out in full public view. Good to see that Imaginatik has managed to survive, although still struggling I think, and a credit to the management team. Do all AIM companies have to have a near-death experience before they can thrive?

Yes, it will be very interesting to see how this new appointment pans out. As Shanklin says, we certainly seem to be punching above our weight management wise. Am tempted to take a few more but seeing as I can probably decorate the gaff with my current certs, I'll wait for any pullback.

I think the writing was on the wall for a future change in non exec when JL had the external tax issues and had to sell 145k shares in April. I liked John but after 10 years as non exec and with corporate governance more of an issue these days it was probably time for change. Certainly he goes with my thanks and best wishes having known him eight years nearly and the new guy looks to have a very interesting background and credentials.

Well, well....an intriguing new non-exec appointment. Some interesting implications from the tone of and language in today's RNS:

New highs now I think.

Davidosh, I was there last week, but going again today and I suspect the queues will be a lot worse with the Park being full with 160,000 more athletics fans! Even last week the Megastore was absolutely throbbing with huge queues - they could definitely have done with a queueing regulator! Buying a bloody Wenlock cost me £15, but still a fantastic experience.

Incidentally, I read an article that on the Allure of the Seas cruise ship (the largest in the world) all the kids in the Kids Club wear GPS-enabled wristbands so they can be tracked all the time. A clue as to future business for LOQ hopefully.

Having visited the Olympic Park there were quite a few queues that LOQ could have helped with but not really worth getting involved for a one month only event unless they were being paid handsomely for their consultancy help IMO.
There is little doubt that business in the US must be going well judging by the info coming out of SF.

Here's a transcript of the Six Flags CEO's results conference call - interesting that the prime innovation he talks about is LOQ's water parks product, particularly in connection with the word "successfully" :o))

The stand out figure for me was the 22% increase in season ticket sales....that is always great news for return visits and as they pay nothing on entry a Q-bot then seems great value for a day to avoid lengthy queues!

The water parks must be steaming and everyone will want to avoid queuing in the sun so prefer more splash and water on their backs so an aquaband will be a popular sell!

Incidentally our Mellotube video was launched today and the company interviewed were mentioned a couple of years ago by one of our fellow holders in LOQ. The videos are available on our dedicated website www.mellocast.co.uk I certainly intend to feature TB after the next set of results or if there is a major announcement that requires fully communicating and digesting by investors

Excellent news eddie, good spot.

In particular, as well as the increases in attendances, in-park revenue per capita was up slightly over the prior year too.

I'd assume the drought conditions over there are helping theme park attendances - particularly water parks to keep cool.....

Indeed riv. I sold 10k @ ave 301.96p & 2.5k @ 323p. I've just bought the 2.5k back. This isn't acting in its normal fashion which leads me to believe somethings in the pipe.

We shall see.
