No - still too early to say. Wait till the end of Q1, or at the very least end Jan. Regarding Universal, I'm not sure why the fact that it had been trialled (trailed) for some time is relevant - companies do still fail their trials you know - the achievement is in getting the contract signed.

Am I the only one who is 'slightly' disappointed at the level of contract wins since the close season started? Obviously the Universal Studios win was epic, but that had been ongoing for some time.Thoughts?spud

CAE,

Would it not be cheaper and easier for Disney to buy out LoQ than develop their own system? Would save them patent problems.

help,

LoQ gave a presentation at a mello event this year and, when discussing the market and potential customers, Tom Burnet explicitly stated that he never expected to sell anything to Disney because they always did everything in-house. Because of this I doubt that the solution is a Lo-Q one, although we can always hope Tom was proved wrong!

I'm normally quite sniffy about award wins etc, but this is an exception imo. It's pretty good news given that this is LOQ's water parks product being honoured as "Best New Product" in its niche by essentially their peers/overseeing organisation:

The award should only encourage further interest from LOQ's potential customer base.

It's also encouraging that LOQ are "seeing an encouraging rise in customer adoption as park guests became increasingly familiar with the product and its benefits."

I know this is Olympics year butyou are getting yourself all confused! Loq have won the prestigious Brass Ring award not a Bronze medal. There is only one Brass Ring award, although there are different categories:

Whilst in a similiar boat to some of the other newbies here I'm a bit more bullish, can see it winning more business from now from the clients it has already picked up, especially the last two contact wins (esp Universal??) so whilst wins should slow expect the existing client penetration should compensate.

I'm similar to timp230 - been wathing for a while and trying to figure out if there is enough mileage left in this to invest at these levels, given its already expoential ride over the past few years.

timp230 - IMHO this share will likely double from this point over the next 18 months to 2 years. There's so much info on this BB if you go back over the previous posts, everything you need to know is probably on here, but please DYOR.

dd - only joking of course, but I'm sure Percey would agree with the Sage of Omaha - 'Wide diversification is only required when investors do not understand what they are doing.' ;¬)

I'm just starting to look at this share and thinking I'm a bit late to the party. The share price is about 25 times forecast 2012 earnings and the consensus for 2013 seems to be for earnings growth of about 9%, which, whilst decent enough, doesn't seem to justify the rating. Am I missing something? Is there a history of under-promising and over-delivering? Cheers, Tim.

supernumerary....Unfortunately my risk profile is such that I cannot hold more than 8% of my portfolio in any one stock or it has to be sliced within a set period if it goes above. LOQ was actually twice as large as my second holding so it does tend to get uncomfortable for all the right reasons but I like to sleep at night and not fear another volcanic eruption stopping flights or horrendous weather as we have seen in New York of all places.

I have a very nice holding so not complaining and my investment did start nearly nine years ago !
