Alternatively get back in with those lovely guys in Brussels. Keep sending them more and more money, lose our identity completely, step in line, start obeying, allow them to suck every last bit of wealth to prop up their utopian plan. Keep bailing out each failing economy, join the euro, have all our court judgements over ruled or soar away from that cliff edge on the updraft that leaving will bring!

Some people say "Hey, Minerve, you've been investing for decades and made enough money, don't you think you should end your date with the ADVFN chimps and retire?", and I say:

People say "Hey, Minerve, why do you sometimes refer to yourself in 3rd Person", and I reply " That's because I sometimes need to keep some distance from my genius!".

ROFLMAO!

Labour lost the plot years ago. Seems we have a new breed of career politicians across many parties. None of this new breed have any life experience, they just churn out mindless sound bites with endless repetition. They even sound like they believe in what they are saying. This is not what I want from my MP.

We have a trade surplus with Japan anyway, never buy a Honda again, too many recalls! Rust-bucket Datsun's changed their name but still doesn't hold any water!....boom--boom!

Regarding the comment about Nissan concentrating production of its X-trail in Japan, perhaps the trade deal with France had something to do with it, or perhaps not, but isn't it amazing how Brussels got that deal done hot foot once we decided to Leave.

If we hadn't they'd have still been mulling over it and stretching it out over as many glasses of champers and fine lunches as they could.

Bob - "there mad enough to think the days of the empire will be restored."

No, m8, we absolutely do not, but we do fear that we might never leave the EU empire, or at least have to await its self-destruction. Think about it.

I forgive you the "there" slip ;)

The Mail on Sunday has learned that Whitehall contingency planners have included among their 'worst case' scenarios the need to move the Royals to safe locations away from the capital. The revival of the plan was ridiculed by leading Brexiteer Jacob Rees-Mogg, who described it as a 'wartime fantasy' dreamt up by mandarins who had watched too many news clips of helicopters landing on the US Embassy roof in Saigon – now Ho Chi Minh City – at the end of the Vietnam War.
