We are all hoping for a quick clean decisive result this weekend.
One way or the other, let it end.
Boring.

I have this fear that it will be another fudge...kicking it into the long grass.
Ordering an all party report to be published 10 year later, 12,678 pages long.

Nothing will change.

I don't wish to raise anyone's hopes, but the comment was: “We will come to a decision BY the end of the weekend.”

You don't have to await the end of the weekend, Boris.

EUSSR is like a desperate cornered bully trying no to be found out.... A group of backbench Conservatives has blasted the European Commission for trying to "blackmail" the UK into a trade deal, following the publication of no deal contingency plans. The European Commission is proposing to effectively extend the status quo on fishing, air and road connectivity and other areas, warning of "significant uncertainty" over talks.Included in the no-deal contingency plan published this morning, Brussels has proposed a 12-month period for continued reciprocal access to fishing waters if an agreement is not reached before.Publishing the plan, Commission president Ursula von der Leyen tweeted: "Negotiations are still ongoing but the end of the transition is near."There is no guarantee that if & when an agreement is found it can enter into force on time. We have to be prepared including for not having a deal in place on 1 January."But ERG spokesman David Jones said it was "blackmail" and "piratical" behaviour. "This just shows how desperate they are doesn't it. It's clear they are desperate they are to do a deal. All they need to do is treat us like any other third countries they have deals with."The Clwyd West MP added: "I'm pretty sure the response the Prime Minister will give is that this country does not buckle in the face of intimidation, threats and blackmail. That's not how we do business." ... Daily Telegraph

Alphorn - "For those posters who have not yet stepped into the world of fantasy - a small audience on here - the domestic numbers out this morning were dreadful; BEARING IN MIND STILL A MEMBER OF THE SINGLE MARKET AND THE CUSTOMS UNION." (My capitals)

Oh how I bet he wishes he hadn't written that! So there's the result of being reamed by Brussels - according to Alphorn.

I rest my case.

What's the news so far...

Is Boris on his knees begging to be forgiven and taking us back or not yet..

What exactly this chimp is waiting.. to see UK sink like titanic?

M2 pls start collecting signatures from your labour friends and families to get rid of him. You have till Sunday to achieve this.. we don't want to see you moving to Germany like Alp did, but if you do, pls take careful with you.

Whatever happens... we love you M2.

"The Royal Navy will seize and impound the vessels, which will later be sold to British fishermen for 10p on the pound"

I'd give them to the fisherman for nothing, nada, on the proviso they had to use them for fishing for next 10-20 years.

"Scotland has total tax revenue of 66 billion expenditure of 81 billion so if we let them have independence we would have extra 15 billion to spend on rest of uk add that to 10 billion net we contribute to EU thats 25 billion we could have to spend annually"

You forget Foreign AID £14-15bn.

So Scottish money saved £15bn
EU money saved £14-15bn(net after rebate we pay)
Foreign Aid Saved £14-15bn

£45bn odd there to divert.
Spending some money on our roads at a local level would be a start.

But focused investment, free ports, and increased defence spending key for future.

Slash Welfare(the fraudulent kind) and NHS waste and this country could get cracking re-organising its creaking finances and over indebetedness.
