Cameron knew there would be no new concessions from Europe. It was all a facade. The Tories have been getting concessions from Europe for decades and they all relate to maintaining the financial services power in London. Unfortunately when 'we' always want that Ace in our pack it means we have to forego other things including fishing etc.. etc.. and other concessions which actually might have helped the rest of the country and just not the Tories, the Eton rifles and their scum mates in the City.

Careful, we all have opinions but some like you they never "forced". You are happy for others to tell you when to eat, sleep and work. You are not a person who takes risks in life and I can understand that but the "system" count on people like you to survive. Your survival depends on others... not good enough.

Your examples are useless ..Freedom is to be able to make your own decisions in life. In politics freedom is to suck your own government and elect another when you think he is Incapableto do his job he is elected for. Freedom can imply in many ways in our lifes.

People talk about freedom.

'Freedom' is when you resign from your job, walk out, then you are 'free' to go home and starve, ruin your family and become homeless.

We all have to conform and put up with some things we hate because we need to make a living.
Money and jobs are important.

It will be interesting to see how this 'freedom' versus poverty argument works out if things turn out badly.

Brexiteers have been sold the argument that it is a win win situation, 'freedom' with improved economic opportunities.
We shall see, Boris is prepared for you to take a hit to allow him and his like to run the country.
..but how will you feel when or if it happens to damage you and your family personally?

Boris will be ok, he will do fine.

How could Cameron have changed EU. rules?

28 countries including the uk negotiated these rules and agreed them.
Each country had the power to veto anything they did not like.

Then after all of that each country has to go home and vote these agreements into local law.
Here that means parliament, lords, royal ascent.


Cameron knew that he was performing a con making out that the eu. could agree to his demands.
What if every country in the eu. did the same?

All history now, we must hope it turns out well.

That is why our elite wanted to get into Europe in the first place.... they knew how dim the incumbents all were...how easily excitable, or driven by unrealistic dogma..and the view was we can hijack the whole shebang and run it our way..we have the brains they dont.

well that didnt exactly work out as planned,did it?

But our superior brains are now running rings round the leading countries of Europe.

I mean just look at the quality of the EU leaders..3rd rate,corrupt,fraudulent has beens .

Because you thought that the long term prospects appeared reasonable - as far as the divi is concerned - and hopeful of some share price gains.
Day traders play - their way - some win some lose.
Or did you invest hoping that the share price would be at this level?
