Northwich and Nantwich a bit too close for comfort. Off to stock up with hand wash gel and soap. Me and missus may self isolate as a pre-emptive measure. Always a silver lining though...will be able to spend more time on this BB sparring with minerve and his pals lol.

Setting out the strategy: Brexit positions are being hammered out this morning as ministers met in Downing Street and Brussels today to try and finalise their negotiating strategies ahead of trade talks. Early reports suggest their respective positions are a hefty distance apart, with the bloc taking a tough line on issues such as fishing, level playing field provisions and demands from individual member states with specific interests. The EU are said to have completed talks with the negotiating position outlined and signed off by all parties and to be published later today. The UK's demands will be finalised and then presented in Parliament on Thursday. The recent speech by David Frost, Chief Negotiator and head of 'Taskforce Europe' suggests the government will seek a Canada-style trade deal and is prepared to leave without a deal should the EU not be willing to compromise. France playing hard ball: France's European affairs minister, Amélie de Montchalin, has said that they will not be "blackmailed" into accepting a poor post-Brexit trade deal because of the threat of no deal and that they will remain firm on their fishing demands saying "The fisherman have the right to be protected." The EU is also set to demand that the UK maintains a ban on chlorinated chicken in a move that attempts to frustrate a UK-US trade deal going forward. The clause, said to have been recommended by France, will insist that both sides maintain "health and product sanitary quality in the food and agriculture sector."Britain's global influence: Britain's global influence is outlined in a new report by the Global Soft Power Index.  Britain's rating is the third highest, behind the United States and Germany. The report scores countries on their power and ability to possess influence over others as opposed to strictly military force, suggesting post-Brexit Britain still has huge global influence.Post-Brexit subsidies for farmers: British farmers will receive subsidies to plant trees and improve soil quality under a new scheme set to be unveiled by Environment Secretary George Eustice later this week. The scheme will replace the EU's current subsidy regime, the Common Agricultural Policy, aiming to continue to encourage farmers to adopt greener farming habits. On our site: Writing for us today is Damien Phillips, an international relations specialist and Director of Proactive Public Affairs. His article explores British principles and the legal system in this post-Brexit era.For the latest news and developments throughout the day, please do follow @GlobalVision_UK on Twitter. Thanks for reading, and enjoy the rest of your day.

Three separate phases of testing for any vaccine, even if rushed through,
with each testing phase requiring a greater number of volunteers - usually.
They cannot release any vaccine without rigerous testing.

There is no vaccine currently available because it hasn't been approved but it does exist.Though one could argue that until it's approved there isn't one.

"There is a vaccine for covid 19 now but I was wondering if people affected are given the option of trying before it's fully tested?"

No there isn't.

There's Gilead drug that looks promising.

There is no vaccine though.

There is a vaccine for covid 19 now but I was wondering if people affected are given the option of trying before it's fully tested ? Perhaps for the critical ones who have nothing to lose by trying it ?

The report, by Prof Sir Michael Marmot, one of the country's leading experts on health inequalities, comes 10 years after he first published data on the growing gap between rich and poor, and between north and south, in England.

"England has lost a decade," Prof Marmot said, calling the damage to the nation's health "shocking".

And that decade was under the Tories!

What's the BS excuse this time, eh?
