a cruise ship is an incubator.
a controlled experiment that allows a virus to breed and spread in ideal conditions.

hospitals are similar, you can pick up some nasty diseases in hospitals.
the old should not be allowed to congregate in confined spaces.
most are on medication, low resistance to diseases.

Www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ New Cases levelling off. I did notice figures for the Diamond Princess cruise ship. 691 cases and 4 deaths and 35 more critical.Mostly aged people I imagine but it's like a microcosm of what to expect world wide ? Much more infectious thanSars.

Only banning Westwood, the expensive stuff sold in little net bags by the likes of supermarkets, garages, etc. No one in their right mind with a large wood burner, open fire burn that stuff, it’s for all these terrace, urban houses who have installed burners believing it adds character and value to the property, I understand their thoughts, blazing fire warms the soul!

Of course we can, we are the 5th/6th biggest economy in the world and we as a country give more to charities around the world than the rest of Europe put together.

"India's economy is the fifth largest in the world with a GDP of USD 2.94 trillion, overtaking the UK and France in 2019 to take the fifth spot," it said.

The size of the UK economy is USD 2.83 trillion and that of France is USD 2.71 trillion.

The report further said that in purchasing power parity (PPP) terms, India's GDP (PPP) is USD 10.51 trillion, exceeding that of Japan and Germany. Due to India's high population, India's GDP per capita is USD 2,170 (for comparison, the US is USD 62,794).

India's real GDP growth, however, it said is expected to weaken for the third straight year from 7.5 per cent to 5 per cent.

Seeing Trump in India trying for a trade deal today.

Makes us feel small and insignificant.
1.2bn Indian population, 1.2bn Chinese, 500m in EU.

Proud we may be of our independence.
But have we the clout to play with the big boys post Brexit?

Our victory is, in fact, revolutionary. The EU has no authority to stamp - it's a wholly empty vessel that has had no experience of prolonged challenge. I am sure others will be here to remind you of your own foolishness when the Germans' eventual failure to defend it forces its demise. A new version will emerge for the better, I hope.

I would estimate that at least 60% of ALL European voters would actively support such a change were they to be given any sort of meaningful opportunity. Many of the remaining 40% are bone idle and want life to be simple and offered up on a plate. Or privileged and terrified of change.

Ah, there is a "version" of Europe now. I guess, at least, the gammons are consistent. We have "versions" of sovereignty, "versions" of democracy, "versions" of law, "versions" of justice etc.. etc..

Perhaps the Brexiters should start engaging in the practice like those of ISIS and destroy and remove everything that doesn't agree or fit in with their small-minded ideology.

ROFLMAO!
