I'm not god's gift, jacko, definitely no Clooney at all,but I still have me hair and teeth even if some say I closely resemble the star in Psycho One!!........and I am no expert, but the women here are duff looking. I taught in various multi racial higher education places and the early twenties late teens, teachers and students..you could see it clearly..and the political women here dont even have looks to help them...because they dont have much else. The TV presenters are the same just look at CNN or the French channels and then here.

SR Have had some success trading LLOY with the volatility in recent times. Closed today for a small gain with a few minutes to spare after having been down most of the day. Rally last 45 mins.

They still gamble

Can only imagine what most books are like. .. highly creative.. a few caught out.. subprime again ..just different packages and names. High risk

Most will laugh given current regs but I think..high risk value market ... with little reward in capital value . Untouchable bar trades

SR, I know rock all about banking but it seems they have no problem generating profits, which gives a warm feeling, but the impairments come across as difficult to quantify which I find surprising and unsettling given bankers' typically cautious mindset and approach to risk.

Decent yield alright Cheshire but you'd want to be on the ball for smelling a cut coming maybe within 2 years. Not just Lloyd anyway

Very high yield on some banks given tests they have

That's a shocking story about those thugs who glued themselves to a train, stoned you. What difference does their motivation make to the commuters who couldn't get to work on time?

Ideally we should jail the judge and the members of the jury in that case.

SR Have to admit reflected on your view of LLOY after reading in the DT today about yesterday's share price fall 'after results of stress tests raised concerns over the bank's ability to deliver on share buyback plans next year'.
Seems to be one thing after another with LLOY, quite happy holding for yield compounding up but capital growth less clear.

The UK is a net contributor to the EU budget. In other words, it contributes more to the EU budget than it receives back from it.

In 2017, another nine countries were also net contributors:

Germany
France
Italy
The Netherlands
Austria
Finland
Sweden
Denmark
Ireland
Germany, with a net contribution of €12.8bn, was the largest contributor, followed by the UK, with €7.43bn (£6.55bn).

It's going to get tough.

Brexit latest news: Emily Thornberry announces she will run to be next Labour party leader

Emily Thornberry has announced she will run to be the next leader of the Labour party.

The shadow foreign secretary used her leadership bid to criticise Jeremy Corbyn, as she called out his decision to back Boris Johnson's "Brexit election" and took aim at the lack of his team's "deep political insight".

KS suggestion that he wants to be leader is at odds with his assertion that A 50 and leaving the Eu - his vote makes him a truthful person.
As a barrister he should not replicate Ms Fleurot in Spiral BB4 who though qualified as a lawyer was ever ready to fxxk the law.
starmer is no different - but has the speak whereas short bailey angela eagle - no gcses lisa nandy just a gob are little to be afraid of.
