kenneth smith 20 Dec 2019 3:33PMThe thing that makes me proud of this nation is that we didn't lose our heads and start rampaging the streets in yellow vests. We tolerated the blue EU flags flying behind every BBC interview. We tolerated the megaphone maniac on parliament square and we tolerate the nightly bias on Newsnight. Our parliamentary procedure was derailed by nutters like Benn and Letwin and yet STILL we kept our cool. Take note France. This is how you bring about change...through the ballot box. You bide your time and save your frustration until voting day and then BANG! Our parliamentary respect has been restored. Thankfully it was only contaminated for a few years by the behaviour of a speaker who thought he was king but now we are back to normal. Merry Christmas everybody.

"Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn told his MPs to vote against the bill, saying there was "a better and fairer way" to leave the EU - but six of them backed the government."

He just can't quite work out what that "fairer way" might be.

Hey, good majority, people :)

Scotland are in bankruptcy measures, who on earth would lend them any money. ROI had to get the begging bowl out and tap us up for a sub in 2008 which I'm pleased to say they've actually paid back now. Wonder how long it will be before they're knocking on the door again once the subsidy's dry up after the EU lose their 2nd largest contributor.
If you think about it the Jockluddites have been getting paid out twice by England accepting all the Barnett subsidy's & getting Brucie bonus EU Grant's which I'd expect they made very little contributions to. No wonder they don't want to leave, that'll have to stop wont it Boris.

MEP tells 600 Eurofanatics "the British people again rejected your political superstate"Meanwhile EU Commission President: 'This is what the EU was always meant to become'?© Henrik Nielsen MEPUK MEP lays it on the line for the Eurocrats - choice matters in a democracyHow times have changed since the UK's Referendum on EU membership in 2016. Back then, when we published articles showing how the EU was an autocratic vehicle for merging all member states into one superstate by stealth, Remainers derided our explanations and arguments. At that time – and to this day - no-one in the Remain campaign wanted to admit that the EU is all about a journey to becoming one sprawling country, where national boundaries and interests will no longer exist. A place where the very concept of Britishness would become a curiosity learnt about by children in history lessons, under a curriculum determined by an unelected quasi-government based in Brussels. In this world, what was once England and Wales would have become North-West Region One of the EU. The Scots would have demanded to be their own region, probably called North-West Region Two. Northern Ireland would of course have been split off by the EU and given to the Republic of Ireland - by then known as the North-West Atlantic Region.

Gordon, no one made me a policeman. Did i claim to be one or something?

So no not a psycho like minnie, and not brain dead like your goodself, not recognising the irony of you sitting in judgement telling someone else not to sit in judgement.

That American woman has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving. Whether extradition succeeds remains to be seen but it makes the point that you can't just kill someone with a car and think that's the end of it regardless of the rights or wrongs of the matter.

Certainly from the youth I listen to.

Worst generation ever. You wouldn't have the balls to fight in another WW. Can't even stand up for your rights in European Parliament.

Crawl back into your caves you cowardly, impotent wimps.

No wonder all of you have got nowhere in life.

Minerve you sad old loser, your posts become more garbled by the day. At least you have accepted that you are a loser by your never ending whining, keep on sobbing, none of it bothers us winners.

Long live Boris, Brexit and Lloyds.
