Yes Pete, i was there that day. The last 30 odd years of Duckinfields life cant have been pleasant with that hanging over him. I too think he was scapegoat for social justice. Glad to see the instances around Liverpool traveling support have been stamped out & some accountability restored.

Max - you must laugh otherwise you would cry.

I just don't want to read any more idiots talking about the NATO budget when the UK contribution was this carrier; which I understand the US will run.

A thought for those who wish to sign up to the 'new' great EU.

Think about what has happened and is happening to the Catalonians in Spain.

Think about what is happening to the Uighurs in the great China.

Then think about how the UK reacts to those who want independence for Scotland.

Who knows what the future might bring. Not everywhere is as democratic as the UK.

Hear, hear Cheshire pete.

How much trouble was there at the other end that day? None whatever. That's suggestive, isn't it?

The police did their best in an impossible situation. It is truly monstrous for an old man like Duckinfield to be persecuted for it.

Utrees: re: Hillsborough, I feel for David Duckinfield. It is a disgrace that the CPS brought him back for trial. I hope that his health has held up through it all.
Maybe one day the Liverpool fans will come to accept that the blame for the disaster lies largely with their own supporters who turned up that day without tickets.

Boris ridicules fantasist Corbyn after Trump’s NHS denial: ‘Loch Ness Monster stuff!’

Hysterical BBC and talk of US buying NHS despite Trump saying wouldn't want it even if on a silver platter. They're obviously frightened that it might be run efficiently and the managers have to stop using patients as pawns in a political game to discredit the Tories and boost Corbyn.

LifelogicPosted December 4, 2019 at 5:34 am | PermalinkIndeedYou say:- "Labour is unreliable on defence and hostile to the USA which continues to provide the bulk of the military capability of this alliance."Rather an understatement! Labour would be a total disaster for UK defence, out nuclear defences and for NATO. He would also destroy the economy. This would also be a disaster for our defence, our health care, our public services, our debt levels, the Union and almost everything else in the country.

It's kinda clear to me that lloy may be range bound until after the election with a slight bias towards the up side . Just a question of what that range is. I would suggest 57.5p - 63p . I want to top up at these lower prices juzt not sure of the bottom. Thoughts?

Alan Davies, so called comedian and actor - bit a homeless man's ear some years ago. It did him (Davies) no harm at all professionally, amazingly enough. Maybe D. Abbott's son will now go from strength to strength too. Good to see all that private education has paid off.

And just athought
For I too am livid. I’m livid that a human rights lawyer boasts on his website that he got a reduced sentence for Usman Khan. I’m livid that public money paid for that lawyer to get the jihadist released early in order that he should be at liberty to kill members of, oh, look, the public! (Are we so soppy as a society that we now fund our own extermination?)
