21/10/2019 19:37 | As a result of Bercow’s decision today BoJo will now no longer be able to frame the government’s timetable motions as a choice between his Brexit and a No-Deal outcome, because the EU having now accepted as valid Parliament’s Extension request, in the event of MP’s not approving BoJo’s Deal, they (the EU) can decide, whatever the result to grant an Extension. Had MPs been given the chance of a second meaningful vote today and ‘the government’ won the motion, the Benn Act would have been fulfilled that then gives BoJo the option, theoretically to withdraw his much begrudged Extension request. 21/10/2019 19:12 | Hi again xxxxxy, The British Parliament is democracy in action and currently democracy inaction, as it is paralyzed. Of course all who support the Brexit Party should join it. Winning seats in the UK Parliament will be very difficult in a first past the post system, except at by elections. I have heard your leader acknowledge this on LBC radio on several occasions. It could well be vote Farage - get Corbyn. Expect to be squeezed at any General Election in the FPTP voting system. Be careful what you vote for. Goldpig | ![]() goldpiguk

21/10/2019 18:53 | cheshire I think the deal is a compromise we should all take. What I don't like, and what I never want to see again, is this behaviour by a PM and his/her government and party politics - mostly the Tories, but not exclusively - ever again. We are supposed to be a civilised and progressive society. Now people know why the Tory party is known as the nasty party. I suppose I should thank Boris because he has damaged the party long-term. All those students/youth who want to save the planet are not going to become right-wing materialistic consumers anymore. Game's over. | ![]() minerve 2
