Political correctness has gone too far and “exceeds common sense”, three quarters of Britons have said in a wide ranging study.

More than half of people also said political correctness is “eroding the expression of Britain’s values and traditions” in a report by the LSE using findings from Opinium.

In the report due to be published next week, 76 per cent of people agreed political correctness “sometimes goes too far and exceeds common sense”.

Only 17 per cent of people surveyed said they want to see politicians determining what is or isn’t politically correct.

When asked who should be responsible for adjudicating the boundaries of acceptable language and behaviour, a majority of Britons said...

Buffett still values companies by using DCF calculations in a certain way. Buffet still chooses companies using the qualitative methods he employed in the '60s. Of course he can buy whole companies whereas I can't. But Berkshire still has plenty of investments out of the group he would refer to as "controls". He has from time-to-time, got involved in event arbitrage too.

You see, there are plenty of things you can learn from Buffet and also execute today that help you as an investor.

You don't have to be a carbon copy to be a Buffett disciple.

The lesson is starting to be learned. Go and do some reading! ;)
