02/4/2019 02:23 | Excellent speech. If only snowflake "Remainers" would listen to this, they might realise why the majority in the UK voted to leave Brussels. | k38
02/4/2019 02:17 | Drop the backstop and we have a deal !!ORBR-exit means BR-exit.. no negotiations !!Cameron: "we give to British people a referendum with a very simple in or out choice, to stay in the European union or to COME OUT ALTOGETHER, it will be a in or out referendum " | k38
02/4/2019 01:44 | Hi There is so much misinformation being churned out by Brexiteers. As long as we remain in the EU we will retain our power of veto. This extends to veto on tax, veto on a European Army, veto on our budget rebate (if anyone tries to stop it) and even our veto on any attempt to remove the veto. People who don't want to see the EU turning into a United States of Europe should realise that only by being in the EU can we with any certainty prevent it from evolving into something we really don't want. Parliament is trying its best to find a solution to the Brexit impasse but is totally gridlocked. This issue needs to come back to the people for us to decide. The fact that we have a choice to stay or leave, in itself shows that it is us, not Brussels in control of our destiny. We are a sovereign democratic country and that will not change. We need a legally binding vote to settle this and the sooner the better. We are just inflicting more self harm upon ourselves. We have spent over £4 billion so far on this issue, companies cannot plan for their long term future, jobs are relocating to other EU countries. It is already to late to repair all the damage. I look forward to our full participation in the upcoming European Elections. As one ERG member put it tonight on tv if this happens the British MEP's will frustrate EU proposals. It made me laugh when he gave it as a reason for leaving on April 12th without a deal. If he is correct it provides a really good reason for staying! Goldpig | ![]() goldpiguk
02/4/2019 01:07 | You must see this video, especially the Remainers. Excellent speech. If only some of our "Remainers" would listen to this, they might realise why the majority in the UK voted to leave the EU. How many countries will need to either leave the EU or be on the verge of doing so before the intransigent leaders agree to reform? .... The AfD leader asks : "Is it any wonder the British see bad faith behind every manoeuvre from Brussels?" | k38
02/4/2019 00:08 | One more chance for these losers to resolve the puzzle and steal Brexit from the people. I expect this week we are going to hear alot more from Brussels. 8 working days to go. | k38
02/4/2019 00:07 | Better not to give people a choice in the first place, it only causes problems. | ![]() maxk

01/4/2019 23:47 | Is May's best of 5 voting over?.. | ![]() diku
01/4/2019 23:34 | Yes grahamite2, some of press are saying boost to May. I don't see it though. If the Clarke CU proposal had carried by say 100+ then it could have been used as a stick to beat the rebels into supporting MV, but it didn't. Not certain that Bercow would allow it anyway. Don't see how he can as unchanged from MV3. Difficult to tack on CU proposal when it wasn't carried. | ![]() cheshire pete
01/4/2019 23:33 | I try to understand the way Brussels thinking...British people vote to leave. TM and MPs try to steal Brexit from the people and ready to sign the deal. The only problem is the backstop..The Q is, Why, if the government and parliament wants to stay, Brussels are so reluctant to remove the backstop ?? If they do, they will have UK trap forever in Europe. Maybe brexiteers have an answer ? Because I don't expect any serious answer from remainers as they are ignorance about Brexit. | k38
01/4/2019 23:12 | Excellent news tonight. What else can the PM do but prorogue Parliament and let the 12th come and go? No deal it is. | ![]() grahamite2

01/4/2019 23:02 | Talk of extended CM tomorrow possibly considering GE. Does May really think she has a chance of leading the Tories to victory having, reportedly, been advised over the weekend by Tory MPs that she can't lead the party into a GE? Idea of GE surely dead in the water unless she's about to resign. | ![]() cheshire pete

01/4/2019 22:43 | CP - ok, got it! First does my edit above make sense to you? -------------------- My post to Willoicc was because he was saying bad to have German cars etc. Buy British. I was then pointing out that he has a fixation on cars but not other German products - like Lloyds updating their IT systems with a German product! Not very consistent to be polite. | ![]() alphorn

01/4/2019 22:33 | Alphorn, unless I'm misunderstanding, from your reply to Willoic I took it to infer a conflict between believing in Brexit and holding LLOY, which I'm struggling with. | ![]() cheshire pete
