The SNP, DUP, Labour and Tory remainers will vote for a ‘people’s vote’ when this deal gets voted down.

(Free movement between UK and Europe )The way I see it, resistance is a clever trap from Merkel as all who entered Europe they been given resistance and movement .. nothing to stop them coming here too in a deal of free movement between Europe and UK. Pls, correct me if I think wrong but never trust Merkel.

Restricting EU. immigration is already causing problems.
And younger people who want to work in the EU. will be annoyed at the loss of opportunity.

I think May has been stripped of most of her powers now. She started by not wanting parliament to have a say, but now it is parliament that shall decide, not her.

This is a dramatic change.
Corbyn and his followers now have much more control of events than JRM or Boris.
Boris will be worried after last nights amendment, he can see this slipping away from him.

We can sleep easy, the crazy bits are over.
A good day to be picking up cheap shares.
Last night was the turning point.

k38 - a few facts on the latest (12mths) immigration statistics. (EU 87,000 non EU 235,000).

The big number is outside EU although rarely mentioned in the media for obvious reasons. Domestically, I would assume that they would have to be treated the same otherwise it would run foul of UK domestic law for discrimination.

Just an observation.

May has hinted that not coming out of the EU is an option. This is being set up for a ‘people’s vote’ on taking her deal or remaining in the EU if her deal is voted down. Support is growing for it.

Some on this thread do not seem to grasp the significance of the Dominic Greave amendment last night.

A no deal Brexit is virtually impossible now, parliament can override May or anyone else with a vote.
Study it closely, do your homework.
It would take a majority of the 650 MP's to vote for no deal.
that is not going to happen.

17.All EU citizens must be given permanent right of residence after five years ....(They have to do the same.I support euro free movement )I don't disagree about this but in free movement there Is a problem.. in Europe they give free movement and residence, after a little while, to all who are entering day and night.

Regarding Boris' speech: whilst I support his stance, I differ in his opinion that we should withhold "at least half" of the £39bn - we should withhold the whole sum until they negotiate properly. That is our only leverage, apart from the threat to withdraw on WTO terms, which May has thrown away with her mindless 'negotiations'.

What an unbelievable mess this woman has created, unbelievable!

Russia, China and whatever do show CONFIDENCE in the UK - not just based on economy but also the law, and in the end Democracy and Freedom that allows so much creative progress and lots of stuff.

Let us hope we can keep it that way rather than some Colony, some Treasure House for the EU.

LEAVE and WTO

graham, Russia and China are absolutely no threat whatsoever when it comes to nonsense like "invasion" etc. That's so last century.

They, along with the yanks, already own Britain and most of it's companies and that's what I don't think any of you seem to see.
