23/12/2019 11:48 | I have a solution to scexit. Simply follow the Ireland situation. Divide Scotland into n and south, rebuild Hadrian's wall a couple of hundred miles north. Then the majority of Scots wishing to remain in the UK all move to south Scotland, and sturgeon and bb and a couple of others move to north Scotland, the Scotland of the midnight sun and midges. Then England will be far away from all the border tussles , and the independent north Scotland could try to join the EU again. | pierre oreilly

23/12/2019 11:03 | graham. It's becoming typical of the Torygraph, and was only put up for a laugh. However, if the lefties manage to install another stalinist type like our Bekaa, they can kiss goodbye to ever being elected. | ![]() maxk
23/12/2019 10:40 | Max, the lady's iron fist will be nothing more than a pile of rust by the time labour stand a chance of ruling again. | pierre oreilly
23/12/2019 10:27 | The misadventure in Europe was to get politically involved, accepting the European Court of Justice as the be-all and end-all! If only the vote for the EEC meant just that, we'd free trade, it all started to go wrong with quotas, butter mountains, beef freezing to control oversupply, paying olive grove farmers cash per tree rather than what they produced! Hardly free trade. CE mark withdrawn for products exceeding sanctioned volume rather than quality! Time to reset from a fresh start! | gotnorolex

23/12/2019 10:05 | #287687 a really terrible article from The Daily Telegraph there. A headline made out of an off the cuff remark made before she was even an MP? Suggesting "a campaign video released last month, [in which] she claimed to be “born to the sound of the roar of the Stretford end” of Old Trafford stadium," was dishonest because Manchester United happened to be playing away on the day of her birth? Do me a favour. | ![]() grahamite2
