Witch hunt mentality. This country is going to the dogs.

I hope Trump/US tells them no way when it comes to extradition. I'm sorry for their loss but we cannot have ignorants who cannot appropriately come to terms with their loss compromising important structures that exist for a reason.

If they cared about their son they wouldn't have allowed him on a death trap motorbike in the first place. It is asking for trouble.

G2 - have you forgotten already what you wrote?

"I'm against ID cards. They're unenglish".

Nothing about carrying them in the car.

This isn't America, Alphorn. You don't need to have your driving licence on you when you drive.

Millions of adults need to mature in this country IMO. Grow up and start acting like adults.

#620. Depends if you want to drive.

Perhaps mobility scooters don't need them?

Al Murray on Scottish independence.

If you love someone, set them free. If you are in a marriage where one partner earns a great deal more money and the other, and the other partner has real problems with cholesterol, alcohol and type 2 diabeties, what would you do? Let em go.

Yes, let's have ID cards with a huge St George's on it.

Boris may already have some that are 'oven ready'.

I'm against ID cards. They're unenglish. But I could well be wrong. No point pretending it's still the world of Dixon of Dock Green.

The other thing besides boundaries is postal voting and this could be swiftly and easily addressed by repealing The Representation of the People Act 2000 in its entirety.

Further issues people are very exercised about are the House of Lords and the so-called Supreme Court. Personally I think they are of a lower order of importance.

I'm surprised the boundary thing wasnt addressed long ago graham.

However, Long-Bailey is not the answer for old/nu labour. Thats continuity Corby.

I keep waiting for the Soros creature to emerge. No shortage of funds there.

But we are MARRIED to each other. It is the British Family of nations. Not only united but married. But have to have a mechanism of fairness in a Democracy.

Interesting article Max, and in The Guardian of all things. The question is, will one total catastrophe be enough?

There's something else Labour need to think about. Very senior Conservatives have finally realized they need to do something boundaries.

That will leave Labour with some mountain to climb.

That's a humidifier, used in stately surroundings where there's ancient canvasses & lots of leather upholstery!
