Bear in mind that they have increased the head count in general, on the basis they were looking for staff a short time ago, and added to the level of blood suckers by retaining ML on the board, while getting the new CEO, unless of course he is not drawing any meaningful salary - (fat chance).

Because of the lack of any news of larger orders in recent months, I fear they will be burning through the cash pile rapidly, and may even be digging into other funding before long. They like PSL are failing to deliver, and leave investors with "Coming Soon" swansong.

They may, if they can find the volume. Unlikely though.

To be honest I mainly trade the Hong Kong and China markets and the UK stuff has done well enough for this year. No doubt there will be opportunities whatever the result on Friday.

As always sinkyj. :-)

Those insiders may take their profits and stump up for another funding - it has and is just a good time to reduce exposure imo.

Good Trading.

Unlike you, I remain in the market but have trimmed back.

Cheery this morning CT :-)

I think the CEO has good motivation with or without putting 12 months salary in. The fact he put something in a a positive.

Re the SP, I agree that could be the case in the short term, however, if you add the volume up and assume the existing "inside" holders took their share of the 1M then there cant be a huge amounts left.

sinkyj, With the market being so jittery due to the election, sterling's weakness, consumer confidence sliding, lower house building, inflation not to mention the Trump effect, and security issues and the FTSE holding near record highs, is it little wonder that others like you are starting to exit the UK market but unlike you they may also dump Lightwaverf while they are still sitting on decent profits from 13p.

The lack of investment in the market by the CEO recently when he only purchased less than one months salaries worth of stock (based on the previous CEO`s figures)does not provide one with much confidence, although of course he was awarded a wack of options at 13p, which are worthless if the share price sinks back to that or below.

Let us live in hope that good news comes sooner rather than later and the market does not take a serious hit on Friday.

Cash is King!!

....."They [Apple] have a certification process and they are testing our products"......"If that testing process is finished tomorrow the time horizon is close, if it's finished in July then its further away"

For the those with even shorter attention span.

Reminder of what was said about Apple. Good information in this podcast. 10:10 and 15:25 for those with short attention span.

On iTunes it's showing as the most popular Sharetalk podcast, so Andrew obviously did a good job.

Homepod isn't Homekit. Homepod will act as a hub for Bluetooth Homekit devices, an additional Siri voice input for Homekit and a player for Apple Music.

Homepod will not doubt will be another healthy boost to sales but so will HomeKit approval for the new lightwave hub. Most days the CEO faces twitter questions on Homekit availability.

Homekit has been available for a long time. It allows you to control devices with voice from your phone using Siri. Whatever we are waiting for, is solely between Lightwaverf and the process/deal/approval from Apple. That could be resolved tomorrow, next week or next year but it's independent of the Homepod.

I'm also out of the UK market except for Lightwaverf. I've turned my 13p stock over and bought back but I wouldn't like to be out of this stock at the current moment. Literally any day could be the day for the next step. Each time we hit the high 20's we lose more of the 13p stock. Much is still tightly held, so when it breaks 26p again it may go some way.

It is going to be a long wait, as Apple HomePod will not be availble in the UK until around Dec.

This is a couple of years behind what LWRF first expected.

Will there be sufficient business coming from the current products - including the new Google offering to give Lightwaverf the volume and traction to turn the corner.

Will the money once again run out before critical mass can be achieved - in six months time will we be asked to stump up another £1m+ to provide funds to advance the Apple business?

Good level of support today considering the mood of the market in general.Still, there must still be a fair number of subscribers that paid 13p in the last rights issue that might still be taking profits, and cause a little bit of further weakness.

It was disappointing that the CEO only purchased a small amount in the market a short time ago, rather than show confidence in his leadership and dig deep.

Where are the new orders?

Rather than provide a shot in the arm for LWRF the Apple news seems to have had the opposite effect, due I guess to the timing factors - delay before positive orders are likely to flow. I guess it might sink back to the 18p level at which the last bounce occurred, it could even slip a bit more due to election jitters maybe, in addition to all the other concerning factors that are in the air, let alone the possibility of a general market pull back.

Time to sit on ones hands with these small stocks and maybe look to sell more blue chip and take a holiday.

The launch pad for LWRF might be sooner than many think. The above news alone should attract a lot of excitement in LWRF.

The PR machine seems to have dried up and until the next wave of positive news comes it seems as though the share price could languish around these areas. Hopefully news of a European deal and large order will not be long away.

Agreed B_I - I see that a 75k buy popped up late as well, so stabilising well before the next leg up - could that 75k buy been another director adding in the small window available bearing in mind they have already said that they are expecting confirmation of new products being certified by Apple.

Obtaining further orders from international customers will also accelerate growth and increase turnover, which in turn will improve the bottom line figures.

Nice to see the daily volumes heading upwards as well.

The 125k trade timed at 16.34 is a pretty hefty wack at 23p for the MM to take.
