I've just had to stay in today and I'm extremely bored so I took the opportunity to wind up advfn's finest plonkers like yourself CT. How much have you lost today may I ask? ;)

Don't you get bored just watching your screen all day? Bloody hell it would drive me insane. It certainly seems to have done that to you. :?)

See ya. Back to normality tomorrow.

And your point is what exactly?

As you know that was my introductory post on this thread and my accuracy in predicting "what happens next" was uncanny some might say. :)

clocktower - I'd spend your time trying to talk this one up rather than talk AEO down.

'IOT' company. Who the hell needs to control their heating and lighting with their laptop or mobile phone? Here's a novel solution. When you get home, turn on the lights you need using a light switch and turn the heating up or down using the thermostat.

I notice that they have had to desperately raise cash again. Diluted existing shareholders by 50%. Ouch!

Revenues and losses for the year are expected to be the same as last year, despite declaring an interim profit. In other words they recently issued a profit warning.

Clearly a loss making cash burning company operating in an unproven area. No prospects of any dividend.

Best of luck.
Michael.

CT - I'm not playing any hand at all with LWRF or with any other stock. Always been a long term investor. The hand is stacked against PI traders, and more than 80% lose money. I'm very happy for posters to look back at any posts I've made here and elsewhere. :) You'll find generally they're pretty accurate.

As for LWRF, I correctly predicted the last placing and consequent share price fall.

I haven't looked at the accounts here for a while, but I seem to think that another placing is inevitable. Cash burn is significant. Whether or not investors think a placing is a good thing or bad at this juncture is their decision. Of course it will largely depend on the discount to the current share price and forward looking prospects.

It's not a company I'm interested in but it could catch a wave who knows?

LOL - Just read back what mm was saying about LWRF in the past and you will get the true picture but that`s these boards for you.You never know who`s playing what hand or none at all.

Which is CT's way of saying he bought shares and the price then fell heavily and then he sold shares and the shares rallied strongly. ;)

Laugh a minute these boards. :)

Some of what you say is undoubtedly true, CT.

What you seem to be deliberately blind to, however, is how this "promotional tool" will transform the company's other business dealings. LightwaveRF at the moment is almost invisible to the UK consumer. The publicity this deal will give the company, both in financial and retail circles, is not to be underestimated.

You also assume we are all blind to the need for cash, it's fairly obvious. Funds needed for growth are good funds and the valuation is in a much better place than last time.

Clocktower, Apple won't waste store space on products they don't expect to sell, they will have done a large amount of market research regarding Lightwaverf products before agreeing to stock them. No doubt they've also subjected the products to an exhaustive testing programme to ensure 100% reliability. Apple won't want to be associated with any product failures.

Just because they are on the shelves of some Apple stores, does not mean that the goods will fly off the shelf. How many young tech buyers of Apple products will invest in a product that needs fitting in the home? It is ok to say you can fit the plugs and sockets etc. yourself but most will want to get a qualified electrician before they start playing around with their electrics. So, although a good placement of product but is it one that the customers really go in to look at?

When you take your kids into an Apple store, they are not interested in looking at the side products, they want to play with the latest model or something that they can not afford, and something that is high on their wish list.

So, I really cannot see Lightwaverf products being anything more than another promotional tool for the new Apple gizmos. No big repeat orders will be the problem imo.

There have been snippets on the Apple deal in The Telegraph, The Times, Daily Mail and Shares mag. So the news is getting out there slowly.

I don't think the wider investor community have picked up on the transformational news regarding Apple.
Apple stores do not hold many non Apple products and certainly not any from a small UK manufacturer.
Further funds may be required but I for one would support that as LightwaveRF are now well and truly on the way to becoming very successful if they are not snapped up by a larger player beforehand.

Are you guessing again CT?

FWIW I dont fear a fund raising if it to accelerate growth on the back of strong sales via Apple and Google. Its about EPS not dilution at that point.

Volumes holding up well, and new investors getting aboard I expect but how soon will the next RNS be and will it be one about dilution?

Great to see the share price kicking on again from new highs. Got a really good feel to it as the volume yesterday suggests all sellers are getting accommodated.

Totally agree Bentley. this is the start of a relationship and the sentence that you highlight is a clear indication that they have a product pipeline that they expect to be able to exploit via Apple.

I think everyone has overlooked the last sentence as follows:-

We look forward to expanding our relationship with Apple as we launch further HomeKit compatible devices for both the UK and international markets".

Kev, wow thanks, that's cool. Didn't realise that. I read the energy bit in the RNS and thought it was just referring to a new energy monitor. If all devices can be monitered individually then it's a nifty way to check on power use. We hung on to the gains today, and the more I think about the Apple news, the more mega it is. Should see further gains.
Remember the recent directors options exercise price of 40p and 80p.

Whoppy, the new kit also offers device by device energy monitoring which will also prove to be a huge benefit for customers who like to keep their bills low.

A word of caution!! In none of the statements does it say the stock will be in the Apple Stores in October - the CEO seems to say: "LightwaveRF plc (“LightwaveRF” or the “Company”;), the leading smart home solutions provider, announces that its next generation Apple HomeKit certified product range, for controlling smart devices with iOS apps and Siri voice commands, will be released on 3 October 2017."

"Will be released" - does not mean the goods will be sale in the Apple Shops or available on-line on Oct 3rd.
