Much as I need the share price to rise, this is not yet a 17m contract and QP is spot on. I've been holding for years and "up to" is not the proper way to report a contract.

So we can expect a small bump up in the share price but end up down at market close today. Just saying……

“They need to say who the counterparty is”

Why? Are some $ worth more than other $?

Also, if you can sell it once, you can sell it again. Obviously there’s a finite market but the company they sold to will have competitors or at least peers so there’s more chance of further sales.

Yawn.

What happened to the ventilators?
What happened to the covid-sniffer-thingamajig??
What happened to the 4/4/14 UP TO $159m 7 year contract???

If they want to add credibility, they need to say who the counterparty is and how much the initial order is for.

ALL IMO. DYOR.

Fantastic news for Kromek this contract supports Cenkos price target of greater than 50p. It is noted that 21/22 broker turnover was forecast as £15m. This is a huge contract.

Another "UP TO" contract.

Come on, why don't they just say how much the initial concrete order amount is for.

UP TO $15m over seven years

Annualised equals $2.142pa = £1.56m pa (UP TO).

As always, no mention of the counterparty.

Who can say/know guess what "UP TO" means.

ALL IMO. DYOR.

Do you remember Neil Woodfords fund that invested in a company called Industrial Heat? It was a big embarrassment. Co-investors were Hollywood widows and the guy running it had a dubious scientific reputation with various allegations. Anyway, it caused much embarrassment, many questions about his due diligence and caused faith in his expertise to be damaged. My point with Kromek not having any institutional investors is that it’s a bit of a worry. Fund managers either see it as a poor company, or a risk of it blowing up in their faces causing embarrassment. Or it’s a great opportunity for small private investors to exploit an area larger players don’t want to touch because if it’s dubious claims.

Even these so called institutions are full of individuals making decisions.

I would say better to trust some PIs who have made their own decisions with their own hard earnt cash, than institutions that can employ staff that can just walk away.

Institutions that are playing with other people's money.

Give me the Newlands over institutions and their phat fees any day.

Also, from all these institutions (or PIs through these institutions if that's what you want to call them) + the Newlands, they can't all be inexperienced dim-wits.

IMO...
- There's some element of truth in what AQC888 is saying, I would prefer more "delivery" from KMK for sure.
- But those moaning on about what you consider to be a bad investment, certainly not my style.

Could you post the thread number regarding my expectation Kromek should design and test the prototype in 3months?

Well AQC888 we've already touched on 'Factual' posts some months ago....I seem to remember when you were upset Kromek hadn't managed to design and test prototype's in 3 months? Then upset that they hadn't sold any, even though they weren't for sale.
Recently you've banged on about no serious investors in Kromek...I suppose the Newlands 13 million shares holding by them is not relevant. Many would disagree. Now you're stating as fact that Kromek have mislead the market ..ugh...Arnab has been updating on the potential market of CZT and the step change in hospital imaging and low dose etc.
just as the article I saw a few days ago mentions....that's the first press article I've seen ever stating this....you ought to do some research on the company's you invest in...most people do and they don't get so wound up when things dont majicaly happen to some self invented time lines.

Mick33, these discussion boards are for debate. We should be able to dismantle each other’s points. Put forward our own proposition and everyone can make their own minds.

Just saying he’s “not factual” and copy and pasting a Daily Mail snippet isn’t really helpful. I’d quite like to hear why my points are overly pessimistic. Might persuade me to buy back the shares I’ve sold.

Anyone who interested in a more "Factual" account of the Hospital X-ray scanner market might find this interesting...
Kromek's CZT state of the art development work seems to me to very well placed to benefit from this upcoming wave of global requirements in colour 3D imaging tech.

NHS scanners and x-ray machines are at least ten years old at more than a quarter of health trusts.

"Great Ormond Street Hospital Trust has a 21-year-old CT scanner"

Regardless of whether he has sold or not he is just venting his utter frustration and anger as I have done for many months now. Everything he has said is 100% correct. As I have said earlier, if we don’t get a brake-out soon then we could be looking at a worse case scenario of .04p by end of year. Hope not though.

Have you sold ? With these risks there must be many other better companies in the thousands to chose from in the market. Good luck with wherever you reinvest. Cheers
