Do you think we will get an RNS progress update ahead of the event ?

Could be the perfect place to launch a biological pathogen detector... it fits in with Simon Thompson’s ‘couple of months’ guidance of when to expect news and ‘commercialisation before the end of year’ comments.

Just been doing a little research into what this dsei defence exhibition on the 14th September is about, to get an idea if it might be a suitable place for Kromek to unveil/ launch their detector... looks promising.

So the theme of the show this year is ‘Integrated Response to Future Threats’ DSEI 2021

From DSEI summary of the event
... The focus on integration has been highlighted by the immense global impact of COVID-19 , and the enforced understanding that robust national resilience relies on more than fire power. With our adversaries increasingly posing non-military threats, greater instinctive integration is required at all levels of the defence community to ensure the UK remains ahead of the challenges that lie ahead.

Simithy, Nanopore Sequencing can read all RNA DNA in Pathogens, Virus, Bactria, & Moulds including Anthrax with the advantage of being able to be programmed to look for certain ones only. ie ignoring benign materials.

This article from Feb written from a software perspective explains the tech very well and it's amazing potential.

'Sequencing your DNA with a USB dongle and open source code - Stack Overflow Blog'

"It takes the most exquisite measurements you can imagine, measuring the changes in current associated with different bits of DNA,” he explains. “This is happening at the level of pico-amps—one-trillionth of an amp measurement—and we can get these readings in real time.” Five years ago, the equipment needed for this work would have been restricted to serious research facilities. Today, for about a thousand dollars, you can purchase a nanopore sequencer as a peripheral that connects to any computer via USB."

Sod it!?! Took an initial re- entry, just in case it whooshing! & /or news appears suddenly.
Nice flurry of buys. A wee bounce from a similar price where it fell last week.
So maybe 18p or thereabouts is support.
Seems to be on the evidence of today & last week on the two morning dips.

Where's the support price? Anyone's guess!?!
If Kromek have sizeable orders negotiated for their Covid Detector or any other news; it's price sensitive information & needs to be released to the market immediately.
So with no appearance of above, one must summaise this hasn't happened yet unfortunately.
Working, in contact, with other Government's intentionally, Kromek have said. All sounded very positive weeks ago, but yet too be convinced.
Looking at a sizeable entry once again, but I need further confirmation.

The current valuation of 18p seems to take zero account of the possibility of the detector working. Seems incredibly harsh given the positive news flow regarding the detector

When positive news is released, (I’m hoping that will be at the defence exhibition on the 14th September) expect any positive news to be quickly amplified by Simon Thompson of IC. I’d expect at this point for the share price to go to “28p and we’ll beyond” as ST states in his last article

Equity Development forecast in their article that the detector could raise Kromeks market cap upwards by 69p per share. They value Kromek without the detector at 24p

If the detectors do work well and they manage to generate a big demand will they have the manufacturing capacity to cope or hand the demand for someone else to fill?

Government is spending £25m on air monitoring equipment for schools... Just co2 detectors at £85 each. But shows there’s definitely a market in monitoring the air to prevent covid

Yus777, IF the news is positive & forthcoming in the very short-term otherwise no guarantee it won't fall further; especially since we've been waiting for an encouraging update with substance, for what seems ages.
